Very strange auction. I wonder what the story is behind these. They say that there was a manufacturing issue but they are all opened. You'd think they'd be destroyed.

I guess if you needed a bunch of cases, it wouldn't be completely pointless. I wish I could find a similar auction for TG-16 games.
-
At least he didn't call it Rare!
Does make me wonder how many sealed copies of the game are in collectors hands and they wouldn't work if they were opened.

At $20 a game he can keep'em

Math fail :P
That last post was so bass ackwards I couldn't help double posting.

If they were cheap it would be cool to make a wall mural with the cases, tile a small wall with the cases and back light it.

Wow...200 bucks + 100 for shipping?

@killerchameleon: I hadn't thought about it in a long time...but I had a friend in college that would buy every copy of Mario Bros./Duck Hunt at every Gamestop he would go to (back when they still sold NES games) because they were only 50 cents. He had an entire wall of them (yay StickyTak) in his dorm by the end of our Junior year.
Side Story: The guy also has a King Hippo tattoo.

That's all he was asking at the time? He still has three of these lots listed for sale, but he has raised the price! He is now asking $800!

That monthly five cent charge for listing the auction is too expensive, he has to make money somehow!
