You may call that awkward ... but that thing looks awesome to me. As Darko would tell ya, I like small weird controllers. Almost every system I have where I can, I have Madkatz micro controllers. For my SNES, I have a round 1handed controller. Im working on a 1 handed controller for my PS1 as well (just takes saving more cash). The controller you linked has a break in the middle which I find appealing and it looks like it would be small to hold.

I'd rock that controller on my Saturn, for sure.

that controller is cool but is it 69.88 cool

That controller does look pretty sweet! Looks like it can transform into a mecha and fly away
-
I'd have to hold it to make my final decision, but on looks alone that controller is total garbage.

It's like a Negcon that just happened to fall out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down.

At least you can...kind of play using that DC controller.
-
I'll tell you what, the Saturn's 3D controller looks kinda awkward, but I use it almost exclusively while playing... that reminds me.

Saw these today and couldn't help but wonder why they were made :P
I can just imagine the meeting where they decided to come up with these.

@madmax: I'm not a Spongebob fan, but those are far from the strangest controllers for the PS2.
They made NFL and NBA ones for all the teams, and Star Wars wireless ones (we've got a Vader one floating around somewhere), those uncomfortable looking Street Fighter ones, I have one from Shadow the Hedgehog (it's super small and comfy), at least one Simpsons controller (pink, with Lisa on it), that insane Dragon Quest Slime controller, and, of course, the infamous RetroCon (which we somehow have like 5 of?):

That controller you pictured is awesome. I love small controllers to use :D

There was that RE4 chainsaw controller, too.

Yeah, but I left that one out because there was a chainsaw controller for the Gamecube first. Far as I know, the rest of them were all only PS2.

I think my brain just threw up. For some reason the a-symmetrical design makes me cringe a bit. I would have to hold it in real life, anyways.
