For packaging that has multiple languages on it, do we put all of them in the box text field or just the "primary" language? It's becoming common for US releases to have English and Spanish or French on the same box.

Personally, I just put the English text.

Add what you know. You can add all of it, or some of it.

I just typed both verbatim as they appeared on the packaging. But I suppose it doesn't really matter?

This is what I do though it's semi-rare of me to add the box text if I see it's multi-lingual. Takes 2-3X as long to enter and it gives my spell checker a heart attack.

When you type in the box text, you should be using the special characters for the other languages as they are represented. You do not need to put in non-language symbols such as trademark or copyright.

So it would be preferable to put in the additional languages? I usually don't just because this site is almost completely English speakers

I put this one in the other day... https://vgcollect.com/item/99081
Was only a handful of lines but it still took a little bit of time. I usually have the alt-codes website up on another tab so I can see which alt+number combination gives me the right accént. :P
I'm a bit of a stickler and think that if it's on the box, it should be in the box text field. I can see people not wanting to fill that in though. There's been plenty of times I'll just forego putting anything in because the English part is a wall of text and then it has the same thing in French AND Spanish. Nope. 8)

Its up to you if you want to do it or not. You can put in just the tag line, just the English (or maybe just the Spanish or French or whatever) or put in nothing.
