Title: Always logged out of main site, always logged in on forums

I'm not sure if it's just me, but on the home page 'remember me' does nothing for me.  Anytime I visit I have to log in.  Meanwhile anytime I visit the forums I'm already logged in.  Same on a few devices/browsers.

Not sure if it's been mentioned before, so sorry if this has already been covered.

It's been that way for me since the beginning.
