not to change the subject of this thread, but the first half of this year moved in slowmo, probably because of all the changes that were occurring on a daily basis. However the last 3-months went by in the blink of an eye. I swear it'll be Xmas before you know it :/

I'm still catching up on Ghost of Tsushima. I've been doing every side quest available and have one of the better armor sets and my sword nearly all the way leveled with almost every perk unlocked and I'm maybe half done with the story. I do enjoy watching the enemy recoil in fear as I cut their friends down though.

Still on a game buying freeze for my use until PS5 releases, but I'm thinking of getting Luigi's Mansion 3 for the Switch for the kids to enjoy during the Halloween season.

As for PS5 launch games, Outriders is at the top of the list. Still waiting on what the heck is going to release with the system as well as what the heck the price is going to be. We'll see.

I totally understand, have been working from home for months and don't know what day I live anymore, some days I even don't go outside.

I went out to several places yesterday looking for the NECA TMNT figures that I've been obsessing over lately. I didn't pick up a couple of clearance titles that I had eyeballed, and that ended up bugging me for the rest of the day.

I got up early this morning, went back to Walmart, and they had even more clearance stuff out!

Dungeon-crawling isn't usually my go-to gameplay, but these games were exactly what I was needing to play at the moment! I'm glad to have found them all complete and in great condition for only $75 as a bundle! Now, if only Quarantine were a bit cheaper....

Combination of Gamestop, purchase from a local collector (Genesis games), and finding Super Metroid for a fair price at a local used media store. Metroid is super minty and complete :)

The game that made the order so late was RPG Maker MV I guess it was delayed and held back the entire order.

At the beginning of the month had some free time which is kinda rare for me so I went to another First Cash store just to see if I can find another cartridges, didn't managed to get one but I did find a Nintendo DSi with a 4 GB memory card and it's carrying case both in good condition for just $ 20.00 bucks, at the same store there was a cartridge of Heiankyo Alien and the disk of Donkey Kong Returns paid only 10 bucks for both games, days later ordered at eBay the screen protectors as well an Aluminum Armor Case which came with two pens and since I have been selling my DS titles decided to hack/release the true potential of the system, now I got again all those titles, at Mercado Libre purchased at the beginning of this week another two games for the Switch, am talking about a new copy of Splatoon 2 for only 45 bucks and aun used copy of Bayonetta 2 for just 30 bucks  ;)

Nintendo has said it will only be available until March, so people freaked out about it.

Saw it on eBay and it triggered my gamer senses.  Still in it's original shrink wrap.  It could be a con, but it was cheap enough to take that chance.

I had repurchased the boxed copy of Major League Manager. I had originally bought this game in the early 90s, and not having the box or disk anymore hasn't prevented me from playing it. As previously mentioned, I still play this game to this day and is undoubtedly the one game I've put in the most hours on. There are just two considerations for this purchase: one is that I just wanted the box again, then suddenly a second idea came to me: to try to find the lost 1986 version that is pictured in the screenshots. All existing copies of the game online (except for my modded ones) are the 1990 release, despite claims to the contrary.

Well, Goodwill has stopped classifying games as DVDs and are now charging triple the price for them, but I still managed a couple that they didn't realize were video games in this last batch.  They had a Mario Party 6 box with no game in it, though :(

Got a copy of the Dragon Quest I-III trilogy for the switch. It's a bit odd that they never made a physical release for the US, but released it physically in English in China and Korea.

I'd imagine because I-III is the Erdrick Trilogy while IV-VI is the Zenthian Trilogy, and they don't want to break them up. Plus, these aren't the originals, but upgraded versions of the ports that came out in 2014.

Weren't they planning on releasing the second trilogy as well?  Or was that just wishful thinking by fans?

I only ever played the very first game on my NES, and never finished it. (Final Fantasy took it's place)  I always wanted to give the series a try...

Not to sure but probably considering how many of these classic collections get released, but Only dragon warrior 3 is somewhat decent in the first trilogy especially the snes version you can skip 1 and 2 I'd say, not missing out on much.

The good stuff is 4, 7  and the best stuff in 5 8 and 11.

I would highly recommend one of the above 5

So I've seen some footage of those switch ports And I've got to say the art style is kinda mixed for me.

Shame that they didn't use the snes grapics and ported those versions instead. Mobile ports sure but didnt expect the grapics to look like that considering how DQ V on mobile looks nice like the ds version.
