If we are counting pre-orders, I have a PS5 on pre-order that I'm waiting on, though I don't think I'm gonna get it on launch. I thought my shipping was gonna ship ahead of release maybe, but its saying it's likely gonna show up within the week after release. Kinda wondering if I can change my shipping on Target to pay for faster shipping, but I'm worried about changing anything and somehow screwing up the order lol
I also have Demon's Souls, Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Launch Edition, and Override 2 Deluxe on pre-order, though Override 2 is coming out in December.

My best friend gave me her old NES console and the Miracle Piano game. I remember we used to take turns on it as kids, she always like playing the piano. Can't believe she kept it all these years.
Also finally got Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines for PC. Only a few minutes into it and I already want to find the strategy guide. There's a lot to do.

Don't mind me, but I always find it funny how some of you say you *need* X or Y game in your collection, as if it were a basic need, like clothing, food, or even medicine. Shouldn't "want" or "like" be the proper word to use? Granted, I reckon this can be something done subconsciously/involuntarily, and it's not limited to this website or this hobby, but still; it's somewhat jarring to read.
I need about 50 more games stat. I kind of want to eat, but who needs a shelf stacked with food? That's a waste of shelf space.

I just bought another console! This time, a "PS One". Reason being, my original from back in the day stopped reading discs, my fat PS2 is a bulky, dust ridden mess better left forgotten and also struggles to boot games anyway, and my PS3 while connected to an HDTV outputs all sorts of terrible resolutions for PS1 games and for some, no image at all depending on the game. The PS One is going to my "retro" setup where I'll play all my PS1 games on an a CRT. I love that it's small because I have all my classic consoles connected to this one setup. A fat grey box wouldn't have fit properly.
Also, my recent pickups. Mostly PS1, and Xbox. Some other stuff. That copy of "POW" on NES is an actual copy that comes from my local mom & pop rental shop I used to frequent back in the 90s, so a cool story on that one. The SNES game is Battle Cars, found that one today in a new local spot, same place where I found the PS One.

When I got off work at 3am, I rushed to my local Gamestop to see if people where in line yet for pre-orders. I get there and see over a dozen people camping out I ask if they knew how many Xbox Series X's they where going to take pre-orders for and they say 12. well I knew this place was a bust so I hurried to another smaller Gamestop not to far away. I get there and see three people camped out, they tell me this store was only getting four Series X and there was one left, so I got in line and waited till 10am to get my pre-order in.

The first set of pre-orders dropped while I was at work, I first called my bro to go get a pre-order and he failed. Then I just tried online. I tried Walmart, Target and Gamestop and all where having so many issues with their sites crashing I never got through. I got the system in my cart so many times only for the site to crash and I'd have to start over. I heard Amazon and Best Buy where posting their PS5's later so I kept watch. at 12am PS5's popped up on Best Buy's site and it took me two hours of crashes and never ending loads to finally get a order through and it showed up today. ;D
Didn't pick up and PS5 games yet, thinking of getting Spider-Man or Demon Souls later, Gonna try out Ghost of Tsushima on it first.

I was contemplating getting that Super Mario Bros. Game & Watch, but other than getting it for nostalgia's sake given Super Mario Bros. was one of the first console games I ever played, and happens to be a big part of my childhood, there isn't really any worthwhile reason for me spending $50 plus tax on something I'm surely just going chuck in the collection seeing as I will most certainly never even play it on account of my gigantic hands.

I've had these two for a while, but I put them away in the "for sale/whatever" bin and just recently dug them out and decided to keep them; the first one I'm keeping because I regret selling my original copy, and the second because what I thought were scribbles from its original owner is apparently an autograph, so why not. The first game is missing the manual, and the discs for both aren't up to snuff, but hey...

I recently bought a copy of The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie for PS2 to gift a friend, and after checking to see if it worked I must admit I was surprised. Like no joke; I've never been a fan of the character, or ANYTHING related to it for that matter, but the game was quite stupid fun. I was just play-testing it, and after a while I realized almost an hour had passed. The crazy thing for me is I'm actually now considering getting either the original Battle for Bikini Bottom or the remake, and the probability of me doing so is high. Never in a million years I would've thought I'd end up liking and actually owning such a dumb-looking game. I'm genuinely stupefied.

Then turns out today Amazon still had loads left. I don't really regret it, as I wanted one, but I do regret being put into "panic mode" over it.

Picked up Pikmin 3 Deluxe from my local independent game shop, the owner, who's a really stand-up guy, even allowed me to have a few Spiderman (Miles) posters and a floor sticker which I gave to my nephew (who's hooked on it). Pikmin 3 is one of my all-time favourites so I'm delighted, been a good day all round.

Some places had good social distancing, others not so much (looking at you Target). I thought I had a lockdown on Luigi's Mansion 3 for Switch @ Walmart for $30 but it rang up regular price at like 6PM so I left it there. I would have figured the price was good all day but apparently not.
Gamestop's new layout/design made it virtually impossible to shop their B2G1F sale. >:(

I actually got the RE3 deal on BestBuy.com last week when they first started. This year's Black Friday deals were horribly staggard and there weren't nearly enough good deals on things. A few games being the exception, I saw almost no good deals on other items such as kids toys. I feel Black Friday as it was is dead.
