Title: Database Advanced Search Limitations

New to the site & have started uploading my collection, but I find the advanced search function is next to useless...

For example, I have a Jap MD game that I don't know the title of (as it's all in Japanese) but I have the Game No./Item No. e.g. G-4068. I hit search & the page errors as I need the title name...!! :o How ridiculous... That's why I'm using the advanced search function in the first place!

Is it me doing something wrong? Or is the advanced search as superfluous as it seems...?

Don't have much experience with Advanced Search but I don't remember it being particularly useful.

VGCollect is well known for its inefficiency, but you'll get used to it.

I'm certain you would've had better results using Google, albeit I reckon that's why you came here in the first place. Nevertheless, welcome aboard.
