This really shows how wildly different our video game tastes are, because I completely disagree with this list. Mario Kart and all its clones are in the top 10, wtf. And there's the good stuff like GT4, NFSU2, ATVOF4, NFSMW12, MCLA, and so on, which are way down in the list behind some crap no one has ever heard about. I don't think there can be a definitive list that everyone can agree with, regardless of video game genre, and regardless of topic whatsoever. Even I have opinions that apparently most people totally don't share with me, like saying that NFS MW12 is much much better than NFS Rivals, but apparently everyone shits on MW12 and everyone loves Rivals. Okay then.

There is a lot of games in the racing genre, in fact there is a TON of racing games for all platforms, I used to not be interested in the Mario/Kart racing genre, until I actually played one. but I also like Simulation racing games as well like Gran Turismo series.
Gran Turismo 4 is a good chiose, since that was probally the largest selection of cars I ever heard of in any racing games

7. Need for Speed Hot Pursuit (2010) or (2020 Remaster)
I can't believe I actually forgot about this one for the previous list, but it's actually one of my favorite in the series. Great fun back on PS3. Still great fun as a remaster 11 years later. Plus with the remaster you get all the DLC cars... which is very nice. NFS with the super cars is what I've always enjoyed best. Plus getting to drive my favorite car... the Dodge Viper SRT-10 ACR (also pictured) sets this game at the top.

There's 3 Forza games mentioned. 2 by one guy.... the third pretty far up the list by another.

8. Andretti Racing

The PlayStation 1 version of this game has both Indy and Stock Car Racing in one game. This game only has I think one oval racing track. The rest of the racing tracks are have both left and right turns and bends, by the title you might think ugg Grose not another F1 racing game for the PS1.
but in all honesty it's got more than Indy cars and its reall fun game In my own opinion. In this game you can select Stock Cars or Indy Cars and racing them on bendy non oval tracks, it's surprisingly different. This game has it's own feel to it, and it's not super easy nor is it super hard to win, but It does not have a difficulty setting just so you guys know.
I'm currently playing a carrer mode with Stock racing cars and I can always replay this game in the future using the indy cars or I could do 2 carrers sessions I think
