PS - if you’re a real diehard, the Japanese Capcom store has some snazzy preorder bonuses, but they are pricey, and you need a mail forwarder to get it.

Do you know how the previous Switch compilation stacked up with the originals?

I'm trying to decide if I should get the first three games on Switch or the DS?

AFAIK they are note perfect ports, just with improved graphical resolution and resized to fit the Switch screen (or modern TV) natively.

I’d recommend going with the Switch release..... better, and far cheaper.

However, since I never got the original Ace Attorney trilogy for the Switch it made sense for me to get the Japanese double pack.

I have the original trilogy on DS, but never played the Great Ace Attorney games before, so totally looking forward to this!

That being said did they ever get Ace Attorney Investigations 2 with an official translation in some sort of compilation.

I personally prefer the ds more pixelated grapics compared to the wii versions/ switch smooth art style. I think the art got downgraded somehow in the console ports.

There is something about the ds games that is superior in my eyes and I'm usually a console guy. still though you can't beat the switch compilations in terms of price.

Than again you can always sail the seven seas with R4 cards and such

great news, i wished for this exactly.  Just pre-ordered my copy. =) cant wait.
