Hello all,
As you've hopefully noticed, we've been trying to get back in the swing of things around here. Scott and I are back to our weekly VGCollect work nights each Wednesday which will allow us a dedicated night to knock out a ton of updates and maintenance items. I'm working through a back log right now but we have a bunch of features / fixes and updates in the works that we'll be slowly rolling out.
VGCollect is continuing to grow at a great rate. In order to help with these, we've decided to promote pacpix to a staff position. Believe it or not but he has had an account with VGC since August 21st of 2011. He will be helping us with approvals, forum moderation and other site duties. Please welcome him aboard!
We'll be pruning the admin positions in the coming weeks and hopefully adding another new face to the team. Stay tuned...
As for other updates my current focus is on 3 items:
1. New grid/shelf view
2. Reimplementing devs and pubs
3. Better category organization
More news coming on those fronts within a week.

Alrighty. I went through a list of things and tonight I've added these to the categories. There is still a lot left to do, but hopefully these will tide you over for a bit.

I noticed that interactive figures have been added...
The figures are posted differently ... For example ...
Skylanders have the name of the Skylander then the series they are from...
It would be easier to search if everyone imputed them as Skylander game first then actual name of Skylander ... Same with the rest...
I just think you can look and add them faster if the figure names were listed second and what they actually are was listed first...

Is there any chance we could get some kind of clone console category? Rather than having all the clone consoles in random categories like we do now (they're all over the place, some are even in with the official consoles), it would be nice for them to have one place they're supposed to be in. That is, unless I'm missing something and they already have a category they're supposed to be in but nobody actually puts them there.

Thanks! It's been busy but all for good reasons. The homebrew shop has been doing really well so it feels wrong to complain. Just more difficult to find spare time.
