So this is everything I got in June! Not much but something ;D.Majin is a great game, you're in for a good time.
Also got Majin & the Forsaken Kingdom from the same site. Also one I hardly see much and one I've wanted to play since the demo.

So speaking of McDonalds. We picked up one of those big totes full of 80's and 90's McDonalds happy meal toys, some still in packaging. We've been slowly going through it for the past week or so.
Already found 3 Goomba toys.

YES! your in for a nice puzzler
Took advantage of Gamestop's B2G1 and got some cheaper, more obscure PS3 titles. Working towards 200 PS3 games in my collection by year's end, getting fairly close with 6-months to go.
Also found Halo Wars and Halo Anniversary for $2 a piece.

Ahh nice! How long are they doing the sale this time? I'd like to go check it out if it's still going on.

I thought I was getting a 2D shoot-em up. I didn't realize I was getting a cockpit-view shooter until I added it to my collection count here.
I still haven't played it. What is bad about it?
I've been finding a lot of $10 PS4 games these days. Can't hurt to pick up a few of those.
Watch Dogs
Diablo III
Call of Duty: Shoot Shit Up XXIIVV
Wolfenstein: The New Order
I also grabbed Witcher 3 for my brother since he bought a PS4. All of those were $10 each. Wow
Then I bought the next Limited Run Games Release, Octodad. The next two will be in the mail soon. I'm going to try to get all of the PS4 releases.

Where did you find Diablo III for $10? I've been jonesing to play that again! :'(
Facebook yard sale groups. I've just been getting lucky I guess. Folks are looking to get some quick cash.
I love this time of year. There are all these current gen games for sale real cheap. Folks get their tax refund in February and blow it on games and electronics. Then, in the middle of summer they're hurting for cash again. I don't care to throw them a few bones for to help them keep the lights on.
Others poor choices = cheap stuff for the responsible folks.
My brother, what has happened to you? The green has taken over.

No you dont.
Don't collect many amiibos these days, but I had to get these ones. Think the only ones I plan to get after this is the Cloud and Bayonetta amiibo and then the Breath of the Wild ones.

Still need to get Callie and Marie, hope they're in plentiful stock as I don't plan on getting them immediately.

I had gone to Best Buy first, but saw none there. Don't know if that store got any or not. Toys R Us on the other hand had at least a half dozen of these ones sitting out on the table and a good dozen of the others and I walked in there at like 4pm. Seems like there should be good enough stock for it, though easiest is probably just grabbing them on Amazon as they are still in stock.
I really do think the Splatoon Amiibos might be some of the best ones they've made. Really great detailing and design.

It's a really good game. The original creators who made Chrono Trigger got together for this one. This and Lost Odyssey are worth owning a 360 for alone.
I had a pretty shitty run in with a shitty GS employee the other day.
I was kind of confused by the whole thing. The store I normally go to, just about everybody knows me, at least by face, because I'm in there frequently buying up tons of cheap trash. He tells one of the regular employees not to ring me up so he can. This is the same guy who sent my preorder back to corporate because I didn't pick it up (It wasn't available on release day and they never called me to let me know it finally arrived). Same guy who screwed a lady over about her 20% off coupon. He tells me I can't return my online order because the order date was 8 days ago, I told him that I literally just had it delivered to my house an hour ago and that I could show him the tracking. But he refused to hear it. I said fine and left. I actually had a bunch of cheapo games I wanted to buy, but I really really didn't want to be in the store so I left, deciding I'd come back the next day when he probably wasn't there. Also, that I might drive to the next closest store and have a chat with the district manager about both issues this employee has caused. I used to work with the DM back when I worked at GS, so I'd like to think he doesn't think I'm just some shitty customer complaining. But when I went into the store the other day, the manager came out and explained to me that the employee wouldn't be giving me any more shit, because he explained to him that I'm a regular. I guess you have to be a regular customer to not be treated like shit? I'm still gonna go have a chat with the DM about this guy's horrible work ethic.

this is so weird to me. i'm a delivery driver, not a manager, but i still override shit at my work all the damn time. i have to get manager approval, but if someone so much tells me their crust was slightly doughy, i apologise profusely (regular or not, i'm shitty with faces, i don't care) and tell them i'll work it out. either make them a replacement if they have the time to spare or i'll credit them.
it usually goes through because i have unofficial manager status, i just am under a severe glass ceiling for bigotry reasons. (hate using the card, but it's true, everyone knows it)
shit, on deliveries, i've dug in my pocket for cash then told a manager and got the refund for it. because shit really does happen in the industry that you have to resolve on the spot. delivery drivers, the ones who are good (and i'm top notch shit in this industry, apparently, considering i get jobs thrown at me, have my name in 5-star google reviews and get jobs within a day) are basically on the road managers. that's part of our job. you don't become the best by being an argumentative worker.
at gamestop i'll do no different, because fuck that. if i get fired, lmao, who cares, it's fucking gamestop. min wage shit job i only want for discounts.
you don't keep customers coming in by being a shithead. and it's usually easily resolved without much a fight. and i've had gamestop employees routinely take day-old returns (8 day) without a fuss. the system won't deny it. the 7-day policy has to be upheld by associates. and this was even before i was a regular at all the local ones.

Fun fact, I've had GAs and Managers sell me shit for dirty fucking cheap just to move product. Some of the highest rated managers in my region would do this all the time, and they not only don't get in trouble for it, usually they get commended for it. My manager sold Babysitting Mama brand new for $5 because he didn't want it in his store, corporate was so impressed they sent him more copies of Babysitting Mama. Kind of counter productive, and corporate knew he sold them at that price, but his store's throughput and profitability was high. Seriously, if you get good GAs and Managers, you can get discounts on all sorts of shit. Damaged goods discounted. Any of those CEs you see up along the ceiling with big stickers that look clearanced, good chance the Manager or a SGA will sell it to you for an even bigger discount. I did that with the CoD Ghosts with the HD camera and South Park Stick of Truth Wizard edition. But on that same note, the folks that will do these discounts absolutely hate it when all you do is ask for discounts, pick your battles, you might win some big ones. I buy shit at my gamestops all the time, so the stores that have employees that recognize me usually cut me some deals. USUALLY.

I believe the policy on online orders is seven days from delivery date. I would have lost my cool on that guy and told him I'd smash his fucking teeth down his throat. I don't care for smartasses, especially some punk bitch working behind a GameStop counter.I did get a little upset, but I forgot my receipt for a different game I needed to return so I knew I'd come back the next day regardless. The first time I met this dude he was talking to me about how he used to work at the Mall downtown. This is one of those malls that only has paid parking, you know like $20 for the day parking or $10 for an hour. My mind goes straight to the fact that all this guy has dealt with on the job is tourists and folks from Mexico who barely speak English being royal douchebags. So I want to cut him some slack, but I think I'm a pretty cool dude, who also happens to spend a lot of money in your store, which makes you look good, so don't treat me like shit.

Most folks dont understand that they can do that.
The ones that do dont for fear of getting in trouble.
Pennied items are weird, i have never had a run in about pennied products where employees werent weird about it. They are always super cautious and timid about letting you take pennied stuff. Sku conversions are the best, most employees dont even know about that unless they have actively taken part in that. I have only managed to get in that a few times because employees have no clue what i am talking about.

Hey all, I've decided to stop lurking from the shadows and start posting here. This is my most recent haul from last Saturday. My brother and I drove around and hit up all the retro stores in the area.
Most notable finds:
A Not for Resale copy of Jet Force Gemini N64 for $2.50
Pink Panther Pinkadelic Pursuit PS1 complete for $24.95- surprisingly a great game and very hard to find complete
Monster Rancher 4 PS2 complete for $45
Contra III and Super Castlevania IV SNES for $70 total
Sonic Adventure DC for $10
Road Rash Complete in Long Box for $10
A bunch of common to uncommon cheap ps1 games that I've wanted to try: Johnny Bazookatone, Mort the Chicken, Hexen, Codename Tenka, MDK, etc... between $2 to $7 each.
Some cheap PS2 games and Portable Ops PSP for $5!
So not exactly garage sale prices but definitely good deals in the retro market I live in.
I'm been mostly a Playstation collector my whole life but I am starting to branch out into SNES and other cartridge based systems.

Welcome to the forum! Sounds like a pretty cool haul and you can't go wrong with PlayStation games! :P You might want to check deeper into that not for resale copy of Jet Force Gemini. It's possible it was a demo cart and they can bring in big money! I just don't ever remember a not for resale copy of that game that was ever bundled with a system.

Welcome to the forums! Great haul! I love finding PS1 games at weird thrift stores because they're often tucked in with music CDs and, because of that, are cheap! Also, nice work with finding PO PSP! So difficult to find decent PSP games in the wild...

^ I'd say we're on the bubble with PS1. While you can find many games for cheap still, there's plenty of games that are starting to climb in value, a lot, on PS1. I had my eye on Einhander, for example, for too long. It's now approaching $100 on average.
So get em now before everyone else catches on.
PS2 and original XBox games are practically worthless, though. I can find most of those for about $5 a pop.
Got Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter for Sega Saturn, Import.Funny, my friend ordered the same game, and also got it in the mail today.

Right now is the time to buy PS2 and Xbox too, most of the retro stores around me just want to get rid of all of it so they can make room for cartridge games. There are a few ps2 games I still want to get on my list that are very pricy, .hack quarantine, kuon, echo night beyond, obscure but I have most of the other valuable ones I want.
I just saw a mint copy of Einhander for 73 at a shop last weekend so there's still hope to get it below 100. I occasionally see some Buy it Now's on ebay for 75.
This is pretty much the only reason why my PS2 and Xbox collections are so large, because nobody wants to hold on to them. It's a dead market right now. PS3 and 360 are dying, stores are already discounting titles, in a year or so, it'll be the perfect time to pick them up cheap.Right now is the time to buy PS2 and Xbox too, most of the retro stores around me just want to get rid of all of it so they can make room for cartridge games. Too true on PS2 and Xbox games. Most can be had dirt cheap. The highest priced Xbox game I have seen is Conker Live & Reloaded which can be had for $35 on average for a complete, good condition copy. I just picked up Grabbed by the Ghoulies and Voodoo Vince, both new/sealed in pristine packaging for under $15 each. Most of the best games can be found for under $10 complete in great shape. About the priciest Xbox games I have purchased (aside from Conker which I HAVEN'T bought yet) are some of the Star Wars games like Knights I & II and the pair of Battlefront games. A lot of that is due to the renewed interest in Star Wars since the Disney acquisition.

About the priciest Xbox games I have purchased (aside from Conker which I HAVEN'T bought yet) are some of the Star Wars games like Knights I & II and the pair of Battlefront games. A lot of that is due to the renewed interest in Star Wars since the Disney acquisition.
I'd say we're already there, with 360 at least. I've already been filling in my XBox 360 collection with cheap titles. Most of my wishlist for 360 has been crossed off, and most of them acquired for under $10. I can list what I have left on my 360 wishlist right here, it's so small:
-Armored Core 4
-Blur
-Lost Odyssey
-Prototype 2
Totally forgot to add my latest two purchases to the thread, at the beginning of the month I purchased through the Xbox games store my copy of Mighty No. 9 paid which cost me only 13.88 bucks also found a copy of Resident Evil Revelations at Mercado Libre for the same price but the best part is that the seller is located at my city so haven't had to paid for the deliver, he has some titles that I want and he offered me the choice to purchase titles in small payments ;D(http://3.t.imgbox.com/03bfQ1ph.jpg) (http://imgbox.com/03bfQ1ph) (http://1.t.imgbox.com/4eade9BW.jpg) (http://imgbox.com/4eade9BW) (http://4.t.imgbox.com/cLcC6I9H.jpg) (http://imgbox.com/cLcC6I9H)
The fact that there's lots of great exclusives/ multiplats for cheap and no way in the near future to emulate the Xbox console shows that it's probably a good time to start building up on that collection; I've already been trying to do that in the last month or so.^ I'd say we're on the bubble with PS1. ps2 not as much as og xbox.
og xbox is so fucking cheap i've put it on my radar along with ps3 for a while because it's SO cheap. i cannot for the life of me figure out why. not complaining tho. no game on it seems to retail far over $20, even the obscure ones. and there's a lot i missed on it. multiplat games from the gen are cheaper on it too and often run in 480p unliek their ps2 counterparts. lovely console.
ps2 games are climbing in price tho and obscure jrpgs are expensive as shit for it.
but og xbox? i expect my og xbox collection to explode in the near future, because the games are SO CHEAP.

The X360 backwards compatability is pretty poor for the titles it supports, so I believe that once more people realize this, prices will continue to rise.
I'm not sure how much or fast that will be considering the nostalgia of the Xbox is pretty low compared to Nintendo or Sony.
I mean, who at Nintendo was just thinking "Well, we managed to sell scales to the general public, let's try pedometers!"? But I liked the concept of titles like Wii Fit that encourage you to move more, and titles that give simple things you wouldn't associate with gaming a unique twist. And thanks to Pokémon GO, I'll probably get the high score on this game. :)

Those guys from the Yattaman title are the ones that appear at the Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars ? :-\
