Title: What's VGCollect's stance on early access games on steam?

As the title says.

Just trying to follow rules for adding games to the database.

I personally don't think they count as games you own till the full release is out, otherwise we may as well add demo's and betas.

Exactly why I feel conflicted to add a game 'They are Billions' I just purchased on Steam. It's an early access game and does not fall under the same category as demos and betas.

If a game has a store page on Steam, it can be in the database. You add the Steam ID number into Item Number. If a game is announced for Steam but does not have a store page yet, we should not put it into VGC until it gets its own store page.
