I'm just stating my personal hesitation. Even if it's within the forum rules, signing up and posting a sale thread both on the same day, with no previous activity on the forums prior would make me uneasy about buying.

Understandable. We're not a huge buy/sell forum, so it's up to both buyers and sellers to be cautious, informed, and communicative.
