Title: Clouded Disc 4 of Panzer Dragon Saga
Post by: scott on April 05, 2012, 01:11:20 pm
Hey all, my 4th disc of Panzer Dragoon Saga is cloudy and won't play on my Saturn. Anyone know a fix? I really don't want to look for a replacement disc...

Would a resurfacing help?  I'm sure it couldn't hurt.

Yeah, I would just have it resurfaced. If it wont play now it's not going to hurt it. Most clouding is only 1 layer deep from my experiences.

I'll try it. I think one of the local shops has a resurfacing machine... I never trusted those things though, but I'll see what happens.

I didn't trust them either until I found a game that looked like it had a key drug across it. I took it in to get resurfaced and the people said "we can try it, but something this deep might not come out, we just want you to be aware" I said no prob, it doesn't play as is. They showed it to me after the resurfacing and I swear to you, this disc looks factory fresh. Give it a try, just make sure they have a professional machine, not some cheapo model.

Thanks for the reassurance. I was planning on taking it to the one place I know of tomorrow afternoon and see what happens.

Joyous day! Resurfacing worked! Cost $1.50 and that's much better than potentially needing to buy a new disc.

Glad it worked! It'd be a terrible disc to replace.
