Just stumbled across this awful attempt to make a quick buck by selling free eshop 3ds codes in my opinion this is just shameful

How do you get these codes?  I remember people trying to sell club Nintendo codes, but that was a little different.

they were given away for free at gamestop sometime late last year-early this year.
