According to all known laws of game collecting, there is no way that someone would want the Bee Movie game. It's quality is simply too low to get any interest in trades off the ground. The game, of course, attempts trade anyways. Because licensed games don't care what collectors think is infeasible.

(if you are updating, I'll keep an eye out. While not interested in buying/selling, I am always interested in trades when something tickles me.)

Yeah, all signs point to absolutely dreadful/unswappable, but then again, I've had trade buddies request everything from 'Mary Kate' games to 'Elmo in Letterland', so as the saying goes: "It takes all kinds."

Off Topic / Re: What's Your Favorite 80s Horror Movie?
« on: April 05, 2018, 08:03:11 pm »
Either The Thing, another John Carpenter flick - Prince of Darkness, or Dolls.

Yesssss!  One of my favorites, a magical film.  A true gothic fairytale.

Jeeeze, WAY too hard to try and narrow it down to just one.  The 80s; a grand decade for the genre!

The Thing
Tourist Trap
Day of the Dead
Christine
The Fog
The Funhouse
Suspiria
City of the Living Dead
Madman Marz
CREEPSHOW

HA!  Got it!  (Ditched imgur, signed up for Flickr!)   ;D

haha, great! I'm glad you figured it out  ;D

Also *very* weird about the string of numbers thing. Sounds like some sort of verification/not a robot thing but I've never seen it myself nor have I heard about it from other members.

Yeah, I find the 'flickr' place MUCH more user friendly!

As far as the letter string thing, strangely it seems to have STOPPED.  Maybe it was happening because I just joined, some sort of 'probationary measure'?
(shrug)

Anyhow, thanks again for your detailed help!   :)

I'd like to swap these items whenever possible, not really into selling.  Being a new (hours ago!) member, naturally I don't mind sending your end first, assuming you've got adequate site feedback!

Well, looks like I can LINK to a pic, now to figure out how to have it appear HERE....
(I'm embarrassingly bad with this shit, lol.)

Ah, don't forget that you have to click on the little Mona Lisa icon to help create the image code.

You have two ways you can do it. Click on the Mona Lisa icon, and [ img ][ /img ] will pop up. In between them, you can then paste your image link.

Second way: Paste your link, then use your mouse to highlight the link. While it's highlighted, click on that Mona Lisa icon, and the little [ img ] brackets will appear around your link for you.

Side note:  Is there a way to avoid having to do the letter string/"Nintendo mascot" with each post?

Not sure what you mean by this. Are you getting some sort of verification thing when you try to post?

Hmmm, well, on the imgur site I'm able to feed/drop a pic in, but then when the address/link (?) is highlighted and I hit COPY (the only option it gives), the only thing it seems to do is allow me to link to it. (??)
I tried the highlighting/Mona Lisa thing you mentioned, several times, but to no avail.  I even chose 'embed post' (whatever the hell that means) on imgur and tried it that way -- no dice.  :(
I feel like this should be a lot easier, heh....I'm obviously messing up SOMEwhere!

And yes, before each post there are two boxes towards the bottom; one asks me to repeat a string of letters, the other asks me to fill in Mario (Nintendo's mascot question).  Each time.

Ah, thanks to you both!  I’ve heard mention of ‘imgur’ (sp?), so this makes sense.  Sort of like when I used to deal with Photobucket, I suppose.
Glad you were able to decipher my Luddite jumble!   :P

....Also: Shaq Fu?  lol

Hi.  I need some help with the picture insertion/format here.  Typically the little ‘insert image’ (or similar) will pop up, but this forum uses the tiny picture icon which I’m not too familiar with.  Normally, it works in the same way that the avatar insertion here does — a small drop down menu appears showing my photos and allowing me to choose — but I’m not seeing it here. (?)  I know about the ‘copy image’ option when fetching random pics from the internet, but how do I access MY pics via the tiny icon?

Apologies for the wording, I’m (obviously!) NOT a very tech-oriented person.

Thanks!

Hello!  I love Metroidvanias, 2D beat-em-ups, yard sales, and dogs.

You kool in my books, welcome to the site!

Good to see some fresh faces... er... avatars and usernames!  Good to see some new avatars and usernames!

Welcome to the best little corner I've found on the interwebs.  Enjoy it here.  We all do.

(*I won’t assume that your warm welcome was directed at me, as this was posted months before I even found the place, heh, but moving right along...)

Curious: What’s with the ‘Pro Supporter’ title I keep seeing?   Assuming it’s some sort of paid membership/Patreon situation?
For that matter, is this place privately owned or part of a larger conglomo?

The one near us seems to be lingering at 10-20% off, gonna wait a bit and see what we can snag.

I'm not at all into turn-based/JRPGs.  I've checked out a few through the years, and friends have certainly tried turning me on to series like Final Fantasy, but they just aren't my scene.  I find the combat systems terribly boring, and they seem very derivative of each other.
When Pokemon was released I grabbed both available versions because I wanted to see what all the hype was about.  Within an hour or so of playing, I was finished.  Gave them to my (then) brother-in-law and never looked back, heh.
