I recently preordered the phantom pain collector edition for the PS4....I'M GOING TO GET A FREAKIN' METAL ARM AND I SHOULDN'T BE THIS EXCITED FOR IT.

I did the same thing - it looks like a really nice set overall, honestly. That steelbook & leather case are pretty swanky too. ;)

I decided to cancel my Xenoblade 3DS preorder. This was before all the visual downgrade talk too. I *love* the game, but the truth is I'm not going to play back through it right now, and if I was I'd probably rather play a New Game + on the Wii version.  I have too many RPGs in my backlog right now that I haven't played at all anyway.
ni no kuni that I have yet to finish.

Epic fail.
Lol, well when you have a BUNCH of games in a collection you tend to not want to play any games at all on some days.  :(

The ps3 has a bit of anime games overall...and the system is region free so you can get all of the obscure anime stuff that never released out of Japan with no problem.

Yeah I feel you man. I just got FF Type-0 and have a bunch of other games like no no kuni and legend of dragoon that I have yet to finish.

Classic Video Games / Re: Xbox or Gamecube

Well I have only experience with the Gamecube seeing as I never owned an Xbox. But the gamecube is such a good console. Skies of Arcadia and Paper Mario alone leave a very big place in my heart seeing as they are both incredible titles. I have yet to know anyone IRL that has played SoA and loved it as much as me :c.

Damn they do labels also and they look so well done, I really need some of them but it's a shame that I don't have PayPal  :'(

 :'(

They do console boxes too!

It's amazing  ;D

THEY DO CONSOLE BOXES TOO?! I'm about to get me a repro saturn box now once I buy a Sega Saturn  ;D.

Actually, the Japanese version of TPP has a 1:1 scale arm which looks hella nice. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FYWVHAh-FYY)
Also, Xenoblade is reallllly good...To be honesty I'm unsure if the 3DS will do the game justice seeing as the graphics seem very downscaled in quality. But don't let that deter you from the game if you just want to play it!

From what I've heard, it's an obvious downgrade in visuals, but that it runs very smooth, which I feel is more important in the end, especially on a handheld not known for its visual quality lol

Yeah, well come games do look amazing on the 3DS such as the legend of zelda remakes, but that's only comparing from the previous games. The 3DS is still a fantastic system as far as for portable gaming.

That collector's edition would've been more impressive if the arm was to scale lol

I just pre-ordered Xenoblade Chronicles on the 3DS.  I'm pretty happy to finally get around to playing it.  Didn't own a Wii when it released and it sounds abit pricey to buy now, so getting it cheaper and without any possible motion controls is good to me.

New repro boxes!

Wow, those repro boxes are top notch. Tell me, where do you get them from? I would love to grab some for my NES collection to make my shelf look a lot less gray.

oh boy, I buy a lot of games every month. So far, I picked up:
[PS4] Final Fantasy Type-0 HD
[PSP] Gitaroo Man Lives
[GBA] Megaman Zero 4
[PS2] Persona 4
[PS2] Legend of Kay
[PS2] Sakura Wars: So Long my Love
[PS2] Maximo: Ghosts to Glory
[PS3] Bioshock Infinite

And possibly more later this week lmao...I'm aiming to get a copy of Klanoa 2 for the PS2 as well as a copy of Wild ARMS 3. Trying to get into PS2 collecting is a real struggle guys.

If you're ever in the area, I work at a retro gaming shop in South Carolina in a town that's about 3-4 hours away from Atlanta. The place is called Matt's Game Exchange and we deal in retro and new video games. We get some rarities every once in awhile. One of the newest trades we got in was Princess Tomato in the Salad Kingdom and Maximum Carnage. We also do trades with old games too so if you want to trade for some games, come stop on by and we can try to work out a deal. Obviously, we don't do straight trades, but we do try to work with the customer in trading games fairly for both parties.

I Drive a 2008 Toyota Corolla myself. It was a gift from my dad, so I love it to death lol.

Hey Nos, welcome to the party!  Don't be scared to jump right in all these conversations.  I saw your pictures in the other thread.  Looks like you have a little bit of everything PS3.  What's your favorite series on any system?
Hm, That's kinda hard to choose for me because I have a favorite from every genre...
I would have to go with The Legend of Zelda, Clock Tower, Lost Planet (Except 3; I already know I'm gonna hate it), Monster Hunter, and Metal Gear Solid!

Whelp, might as well introduce myself.

Hi, my name is Edwin, but you can just call me Nos or Nosmiric. I've been a lover of games since I was really little and have always wanted to collect vintage and new games, but I've never had the wallet for it seeing as I was a teenager without a job. Now that I'm 20 and with an actual bank account I make it my duty to scout out for great deals and really really neat stuff.

Aside from video game collecting, I'm just a normal dude who plays games, watches anime, and spends too much time on the internet. I have taken up some voice acting and plan to be a graphic designer eventually.
