Game Stores in Michigan? Well, when I was living in Midland I'd go to Game On and Game Traders. I've gotten good finds at both. But Game On did seem slightly more organized. I also think they had a better selection. I found good prices at both.

I know our one friend opened a new store in Bay City called 1-Up Games. But I haven't had a chance to swing in and check it out yet. Maybe I'll do that after work sometime this week.

Ooh, that's far, maybe i'll try to hit them up next time I go out that way camping, thanks!

Nice sale pickups, I also went out with a few friends to a citywide block sale. Came out with some pretty good deals.

wico command control for atari in box (nope it was just the box with a paddle controller set and an original atari controller in it...)
microsoft sidewinder gamepad
descent freespace big box pc game complete
composite cables
2 sets of patch cables
vintage tripod
^Paid $5 for all of it, probably going to trade the atari and pc stuff later on.

Apple TV- $5

Pikmin for gamecube complete for $2, ended up trading it to my friend for the playstation bundle he found,
it had an in box playstation dual shock system, with 2 regular controllers (no dual shock, but I have one)
Jet Moto 2
Coolboarders 2
Army Men Green Rogue
Ready 2 Rumble Boxing Round 2
DDR Konamix with dancepad
Like 8 interactive cd's and a few jampacks
it also had shadows of the empire and superman for n64. i know. superman...

New super mario bros. wii - $5
kirby's epic yarn with strategy guide - $5

Also went to the game store and got
Joe and Mac - Snes - $14
Warlock - SNES in box - $3
Not exactly the greatest deal on Joe and Mac, but I've wanted to play it for a while, if I don't like it I think I'll take it back.

all in all a good sale

On my way to pick up my Wii U Deluxe and Assasins Creed III for $200 later on

News / Re: Looking for Collection Photos

Don't mean to get too far off topic
I love the front/login page, but I wish when we clicked on "view collection" that our collection pages
had a header with our game room/ collections on it.
I love seeing everyone's collections!
Just wondering if it would be possible?  ;D

There will be a new bio portion on the new site that may scratch this itch. Not sure it we'll incorporate images there but I'm now just starting to play around with more personalization options like this.

:D can't wait to see what you do!

also, they added offline co-op which is awesome, cause now me and my brother can play. they added a dodge as well, i'm sure there will be some added bonuses too, like in starcraft 64.

I was thinking of picking up D3 on PS3. But I'm not sure in it yet. I'd really rather have an expansion to the PC version instead.

from what I understand they hired an outside console team to dev the ps3 version, so if they are working on an expansion, there was no time sacrificed

Pony up and get both XD, I did it on a whim. I also want it on PS4, but I don't think I'll be able to afford one when it comes out, so it wont make a difference to me. also, i watched an interview with one of the devs and they said they haven't even got a hold of a dualshock 4, so even if the ps4 does release this year, dIII probably won't until next year.

Pre-Ordered the PS3 version of Diablo III last night, got that fancy double sided poster and helm XD.
I hope this doesn't get hacked somehow. I can't stand the PC version for that, spent more time reclaiming my account than actually playing.

Everyone thinks they have gold just because a Zelda cart is painted that way.

LOL. Like two days ago. A copy of Ocarina of Time that someone placed in a spiderman cart sold for over $200 because it was the "rare" Zelda red cart. Certainly one of a kind.  ;D http://www.ebay.com/itm/171033204312

That is too funny! 12 bids? You'd think if 12 people were willing to bid that high, they would know what they were getting!

Yeah, it's alot of fun. When I bought it 6 years ago I was thinking it was going to have a way to select the other titles on it, like a sonic mega collection type deal.
Kind of a bummer for me when I found out you had to unlock them, I wanted to play SoTN so bad! lol

Went to some garage sales. No one had anything. Talked to an old lady who said her daughter was trying to sell her old "Seka" collection  :).
Her daughter was 50. Yeah, anyway waiting for a call on what Seka games she has.
Other than that, went out GS dumpster diving and pulled out some crazy stuff.
Official PS3 headset
Afterglow PS3 headset
a madden ea headset for 360
usual promo posters, gameinformers, promo buttons and pins blah blah blah
Some controllers, line rider 2 for ds, 2 ps memory cards, and some other random ps2 titles.

ended up keeping the ps3 headsets and Line Rider 2
traded the rest the other day to my guy at the flea market who loves promotional stuff. (which is great for me!)
Ended up with:
Red GB Pocket
atomic purple GBC
ecco the dolphin - DC
unreal tournament- DC
Ooga Booga - DC
Bubsy II - Genesis
Fantasia - Genesis
Pac-Man 2 - Genesis
Sub-Terrania - Genesis
Gauntlet - NES
Tetris 2 - NES

I've started playing Dracula X Chronicles again. Haven't played since it came out. Still hard.
I recently picked up cool little red Gameboy Pocket and I've been playing The Castlevania Adventure on that. Still hard.  ;D

I don't think I could ever go the "debit card only" route. Possibly because I run a store, and know how much percentages come out of my sales because of cards. Plus, if you're dealing with mom and pop shops, they tend to give you a better deal if you show them greenbacks.
What store do you run, scott?
