Ten minutes seems like too short of a time to cook a TV video board.  Are you sure it wasn't undercooked?

Shougi no Tatsujin: Master of Syougi- from what I can see, this was only released on the Neo Geo, not the Neo Geo CD
http://vgcollect.com/item/28990

There is no entry for this in the Neo Geo category yet, so it should be moved there. I submitted the edits for it

General / Re: Phantom Hourglass or Minish Cap?
« on: July 02, 2016, 12:44:57 am »
Minish Cap by far.  Phantom Hourglass is one of the few Zelda games I have not finished, I hated the Temple of the Ocean King aspect of the game.  I did finish Spirit Tracks and did not enjoy it much either.  Minish Cap is a bit light on dungeons, but I enjoyed playing through it.  Doesn't make my top five by any means, but a great addition to the series.

Gameplay and controls are the most important to me.  I love a good story and great graphics, but if the game itself is not good then I don't get much enjoyment out of the experience.

I don't play FPS games all that often, but I had a ton of fun playing the Goldeneye remake on Wii when it came out.

I don't think that would be a problem at all. Go ahead and make a thread if you want to :)

Ive been on a gta 5 online kick again. Found an active crew willing to do lots of missions to make money. bought a yacht online.

Named it the Salty Spitoon..... To board, you gotta tell me how tough you are.  ;D

I stubbed my toe last week while watering my spice garden, and I only cried for twenty minutes.  8)

Off Topic / Re: What is everyone's side hobby/collection?

I love watching baseball and have done so almost as long as I have been gaming.  In addition to that I am also interested in classic literature and technology (mainly networking stuff right now for my degree and internship).  Now if only I had time for all of this stuff   ::)

I collect many things.  ;D

Baseball cards, Transformers and movies are my other major collections. If I were to rank them, it would probably be like this:
1. Transformers
2. Baseball cards
3. Video Games
4. Movies

In my house, I plan to have a room for each. The Transformers room is already set up and is maybe 80% set up. The baseball card room is around 50% or so. All the walls are bare in there. Video Games room is maybe 20% and is mostly used for storage. Movies are all in my living room and dining room.
Do you have a specific era or teams that you focus on in your baseball card collection?

Off Topic / Re: iPhone or Android: Which is your choice and why?
« on: June 09, 2016, 10:28:18 pm »
I have a soft spot for iOS since the 2nd gen iPod touch was the first "smart" device I ever owned and I loved it.  However, the two phones I have owned since ditching flip phones/keyboard phones have both been Android.  One of the biggest determinants for me is the option for external storage.  I also like the more open nature and customizability of the platform.

As long as it's clearly labeled a repro I do not see the problem.

This is the most important part to me as well.  It genuinely bothers/scares me that there are repros out there that are not marked as such.

While I don't ever see myself purchasing a repro of a game that had a commercial release, I do own a repro of The Legend of Zelda: Ancient Stone Tablets and absolutely love it.  I could have emulated it just fine (and I have and continue to do so with other games), but it is such a cool collector's piece and I love having it on my shelf.

If you don't care about having individual physical carts and are interested in a lot of expensive games I would definitely recommend a flash cart.  I have never owned one, but I have heard many great things about them and you still get to experience the game on the original hardware.

On a sidenote, we are pretty relaxed on rules here, but watch the language in the thread.  Homophobic slurs are completely uncalled for
