Alright, I have a few things I don't really want/need/use that I want to offer up for trade, though there isn't really anything specific I am looking for, mostly just curious is anyone is looking for/wanting these things. I also don't know if they are actually anything sought after, (maybe a few things are), so I am not really sure how to value them. Well, here goes:

- Tatsunoko vs Capcom arcade fight stick, for the Wii. I don't have the game, so just the fight stick in box, which is in really good shape. I only used the stick once, and found out I was just as bad at the game as I am with a controller, and doesn't look used at all. I bought it used and I don't think the person that got rid of it ever used it.

- Majora's Mask Club Nintendo soundtrack, with the CN card, (if that matters). I honestly only got this reward because it was the best looking one out of the bunch. I dislike the game personally and don't see a reason to hold onto it.

- Wind Waker HD Ganondorf figure, with the box but no game, (not 100% sure I want to get rid of this yet, but maybe). I don't have the game anymore, kind of regret that, but I have the figure with the box.

- Dreamcast VGA adapter, by retrobit, not sure if these are still sought after, but I don't have a Dreamcast anymore so I have no use for it. I have a VGA cable I can include

Those are probably my best items, these others I don't think are anything to special, but someone might be looking for them.

- The Legend of Heroes Trails in the Sky, Musical Selections, (unopened, but does have a crack in the back of the case), World Map/poster, and a pin with an emblem I guess represents the characters guild, (unopened). Not sure, never played the game but had bought the limited edition with every intent too.

- Lunar Silver Star Harmony, cards...can't remember exactly what they are called, (bromides, I think?), still sealed. I think they are all the female characters in the game, though someone is welcome to clarify. I also have the musical selection disc, however I did open it to listen to it, so I would just toss this in with the cards.

- The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past manual and world map. Manual is in really good shape other then a couple bent corners on the front, the map has definitely seen use.

- Assassins Creed III steel book case, unopened. I'm not big on steel books, but I know some folks love em.

- Final Fantasy XIV CE leather bound journal. This is from the first CE of the game when it was pretty bad. Never been used.

- Shin Megami Tensei IV, Music Collection, (unopened), and Strategy and Design book that came with the limited edition. I don't have the game anymore. Book is in pretty good shape, a few signs of use on the cover.

And last I have a few opened Music Collection discs:

- Etrian Odyssey IV
- Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers
- Persona 4 Arena
- Radiant Historia

Nothing to exciting I don't think, but maybe something a collector is hunting. Let me know if anyone is interested.

One of the reasons I got a Wii U was for Dragon Quest X, sigh...

It got delayed until 2015,  :-\

Was the game I was looking forward to the most this year. I guess more time for them to make it more awesome.

I think one of the biggest factors is what is the game's appeal?  Is it a AAA blockbuster?  If so, odds are it will never be truly rare because they're going to make a ton of them.  But more niche games (and most JRPGs are definitely niche) will typically have a limited print run and therefore be more scarce.  A few upcoming games I'd keep an eye on:

Deception IV: Blood Ties (PS3 / Vita) - Comes out at the end of the month.  A sequel to an already niche and mostly forgotten PS1 franchise (there was also a game from the series on the PS2 but it went by a different name, Trapt).  Definitely a quircky game, and almost certain to have a very small print run.

Drakengard 3 (PS3) - You've already missed the boat on the CE for this one.  It was limited to 5k copies which were only available directly from Square-Enix's website and they sold out VERY quickly.  But also keep in mind that the only place to buy a physical copy of the game PERIOD is from Square-Enix's website, so the game in any physical form is pretty much guaranteed to become rare.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle (PS3) - Here's another one with only a couple of places offering the physical version of the game - this time it's either direct from Namco-Bandai or from Amazon.  As soon as Amazon put this up for preorders, I jumped on it.  Again, I doubt this game has a very big print run.

Hakuoki: Stories of the Shinsengumi (PS3) - There's an LE of this still available to preorder (last time I checked...) as well as a standard edition.  Not limited to certain retailers, but don't go looking for it at Wal-Mart (and I don't think I've seen any sign of Best Buy carrying it).  It's a visual novel, so this is the nichiest of the niche.  My wife wanted it after seeing the trailer so I have the LE on order for her.  FYI, Amazon currently has the LE listed at $10 off making it $50, only $10 more than the standard ed.

On a more general note, recently I've begun trying to get ahold of any PSP RPGs I want that I missed (which is quite a few).  Most of these are still somewhat reasonably priced, some of them are actually very cheap - I ordered a copy of Tactics Ogre for $10 new last night from Amazon.  I expect GS to start liquidating what's left of their already small inventory of these any day now, and once they're no longer carrying them you'll start seeing the prices climb.

EDIT:  One last thing I wanted to mention, all of these PS3 games I've mentioned have one thing in common - they're niche games coming at the end of a console cycle, and those have historically had the smallest print runs & become some of the most sought-after games.  But there's a new wrinkle in things this time.  Companies know these games probably won't sell a ton but they may be able to squeak out more digital sales than physical.  So I'm expecting even smaller print runs than normal on many of these quircky games with more of a focus being on the digital side.

That is the whole reason I won't buy Drakengard 3. Limiting it to just their store is stupid. And though I know I won't see it at every one I go to, I know some copies will pop up used at Gamestop or my local game store, (not to mention 3rd party sellers on amazon, though for a bit more I am sure, but if SE wants to pull crap like this I don't want to give them my money).

WTF ya' been DennieD.?!

I've missed seeing u around here  :-*

Haha, I've been around, just busy with life and such. We moved last year and I tried to get some stuff done around the house this past winter when I wasn't working. How you been?

Oh, another thing. Im going to be displaying gameplay footage most of the time. Do you think its necessary to record myself and have picture in picture or would the gameplay be enough?

You could try it both ways and see which one you like better. I watch folks with it both ways and it doesn't really bother me one way or the other. I'll be sure to check it out once you are up and rolling.

37
I'll keep my eye on this topic and send it to ever wants the game. Or I could send it to you, just let me know.

38
No and niether the cardboard box. Just the game, case and manual.

I happen to have a Pokewalker that hasn't been used yet, still has the pull tab in it and the back piece with the belt clip that you can switch. If it sweetens the deal for anyone interested I'll throw this in, or I can send it to you to add to it.

39
Does Soul Silver have the Pokewalker?

40
EB had some games for 49 and 99 cents so grabbed a bunch. Hot Shots golf was $13.49 but it's been on my wish list. The Wii game was $1.99 and the rest were in the aforementioned 49-99 cent range.

Probably use most of these as trade bait at the local game store. May keep the "eye move" games but the rest are all just "meh" to me and barely worth a buck each.

I see hot shots on the PS store on sale pretty often. I picked it up a few years ago for 6 bucks, I think it was, with all the dlc.

Just curious, what is the Final Fantasy VIII item in the first picture at the top? A soundtrack?

hehehe no, is the collector figure set that includes edea and other characters :3

Oh, awesome. Big FF VIII fan here, my favorite FF of all time. Sorry about the hard times.

I'm slowly rebuilding my PS3 collection since picking another one up. In the past couple of days I picked up:

- Batman: Arkham City (beat it on the 360, and the Arkham Knight news had me wanting to play it again)

- God of War Collection (only ever beat II, and enjoyed it, not to mention it was only 8 bucks)

- God of War III (again, only beat II and it was only 8 bucks)

- Resident Evil 6 (beat it on the 360, loved every minute of it, wanted to play through it again. One of my favorite Resident Evils, next to 2 and 4)

- Silent Hill: Homecoming (first PS3 game I ever got, still haven't beat it, one of my all time favorite series)

- Tales of Symphonia Chronicles (I was going to wait on this, but had a 10 dollar of coupon and it was only 31 bucks used, so I spent 24 bucks with tax, which I thought was a solid deal)

- Tales of Xillia (didn't beat it when I had it last time, though I enjoyed what I had played quite a bit. Figured I would grab it again before it was harder to find)

- Valkyria Chronicles (gonna give this another chance, really didn't like it when I tried it years ago, but I always hear great things about it. I also really like the setting, art style, and love what music I have heard)

- Yakuza 3 and 4 (have always heard this was a good series, and finally picked them up, might get 1 and 2 if the HD versions ever come here that I heard released in japan)

Glad folks are enjoying it. Unfortunately I passed on it. I was really pumped for it, but the demo ruined it for me. What is odd is, I had no interest in Lightning Returns, and that demo sold me on it, haha.

Looking forward to this. Loved the first two games, Origins, not so much. It also pushed my friend to go ahead and find himself a PS4, haha.
