Wow.  Imagine the planning and work that had to go into such an accurate and large-scaled project!   :o

Scottish accent is wow... I had a scottish room mate, oh boy... Took me a few days to be able to understand what he was saying.

Sounds like me watching Trainspotting...or...was that Requiem For A Dream; one of 'em :P

Trainspotting.  ;)  Begbie's (Robert Carlisle) accent was thickest in that film.

Firs thing I thought of when I saw that Famicom "game chair" was: "Man I hope those were cheap carts".

Same here!

I have nothing fancy.  Just a recliner and a couple of bean bags.  Sometimes I even sit in bed and play games because I also have a 360 in the bedroom.  :P

I really want Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate, but I no has a 3DS.  :(  Now that I know there's also a BlazBlue game out for it, I may have to pick one up at some point soon...

But, I now have Lords of Shadow 2 for 360 paid in full.  :)

Is the manual black and white or color on that Super Castlevania IV?

'Tis colour.  :)

I think I Googled "video game collection database" or something to that effect after the previous website I belonged to (listal.com) no longer suited my needs.  It was a multi-functional site where you could make lists and also pertained to movies, tv shows, books, etc.  It had a user-contributed database/image function, and that was its downfall.  The first few years I was active on it, people actually used it for its intended purpose, but then a lot of traffic from Google and other sites eventually turned it into a porn site.  I deleted all of my lists, etc. and moved here since video games were my primary interest anyway.  I had tried out The Backloggery, but found that VGC suited me better.  :)

I think it's a reasonable price considering just how many of these are complete and in decent condition (according to the seller).  Would I buy them all in one go?  Probably not.  For one, the thrill and satisfaction of amassing such a complete collection is going out and finding each and every one of these games for yourself, not relying on someone else to have already done the work.  Also, I certainly don't have that kind of money anyway.  :P

Well, like Darko said, just imagine how many beads it took to make this...!   :o

You guys have gotten some great stuff so far this month!  I'm liking all the BlazBlue stuff especially, Vancha.  And Darko, you must have a Vintage Stock near you.  ;)

I've been super busy and haven't had a chance to post my recent findings, but... I picked up a few things this past week that are worth mentioning:

The Immortal (Genesis) - hard as balls
Killer Instinct (SNES) - also own it on GameBoy
and a box (with manual, cardboard and other inserts) for Super Castlevania IV in perfect condition.  I have yet to get a cart, but once I do this will be my first pristine CIB retro Castlevania game.  I have started down a path I cannot return from... lol

I am also now just past the 400 mark for my collection.  Woot!  :)

I always buy games I know I like/will like and intend to play.  Or, I'll buy games from my childhood -- even if they're not masterpieces --  just for nostalgia's sake.  If there's a crap game in my collection, the blame falls on my boyfriend, not me.  ;D

That just goes to show you that the vast majority of VGC members have taste.   8)
