Marketplace / Re: Looking for a certain manual
« on: July 03, 2016, 05:18:33 pm »
So I recently got Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage for the PS1. Collector's Edition. Thing is, it came without the game manual. After finding out just how difficult it is to reprint one, I'm looking to buy a replacement manual for this game

Sorry, don't have that manual.

I am also looking for a PS1 manual of Bomberman Fantasy Race.

General / Re: What is the Most Important Part of a Game to You?

Graphics? Story? Controls? Level-design? Genre of game? Developer? Music? Something else?

Which part do you consider the best part of the game?

1. Gameplay
2. Longevity/Replay-value
3. Presentation
4. Developer
5. Price

Really don't care about story, graphics or controls much. Besides my favorite gene are arcade-oriented for the most part.

Modern Video Games / Re: What game are you waiting for the most?

I am waiting for a New Bioshock  :(

The King of Fighters XIV for PS4.

Ever since the first preview teaser debuted I've been working on execution of combos on previous games that have a similar engine. The King of Fighters 2002: Unlimited Match, and The King of Fighters XI.

Off Topic / Re: What did you have for dinner today?

I had chicken strips with key lime pie for dessert  ;D

Home made stir-fry with tofu and lighted battered chicken- mixed honey, soy sauce, and sriracha.
White rice on the side, and ginger ale to drink.

Not a fan of FPS genre to be frank. At high school during lunch period we would play Unreal Tournament, and Quake III. I did enjoy Tribes aerial Assault for PlayStation 2 Online Network back when it was released, although the atmosphere fog was annoying.

The only FPS that caught my attention and had to play all the way though was Shogo: Mobile Armor Division for PC.

Classic Video Games / Re: Do you lend your games?

When I was younger I have, for the most part without any problems. Although the last time I lend a DVD to a friend he returned it with the box ripped, disc unreadable and said his dog got to it. Never again.  >:(

To be honest I'm usually not a fan of these types of extras, especially from new series being released. From an existing series I am looking forward to (for example, The King of Fighters XIV) I really enjoy the soundtracks that are going to be included. Stickers, SteelBooks, Art Books collect dust more than anything else.

I was really looking forward to playing Geist Force when I read about the upcoming Sega Dreamcast back in 1998 in a video-game magazine. Shame it was never officially released.

Thank you for all the suggestions. As much as I would have loved to hold off until Neo was launched, my birthday was June 12 so I went ahead and took redblaze57 advice for a refurbished system, won on eBay for 280USD including shipping.

I can finally expereince the installation/updating loading times modren (Eighth generation) gamers complain about now  :D

Classic Video Games / Re: How many do you consider to many games?

How many do you consider to many games in ones possession?

Do you have a limit? Or does the buy/trade dynamic keep it from overflowing?

When you have (1) large shelf of games is too many for me. Then again, this is coming from someone who doesn't collect for the sake of collecting, rather game player first. I'm also against buying game sets for the sake of completion. Anything mediocre or less I'll trade or sell off.
