I don't know if there's already a thread for this, but I tought that it might be a good idea to create one in which we would only post a link to our wishlist and that way, other members see it and may contact us to say if they have anything in it they would be willing to sell! :)

So here's mine:

http://vgcollect.com/wishlist/urbanchaos

with the exception of those:
Bubble Bobble (in talk)
The Immortal (on order)
The Simpsons: Bart's Nightmare (on order)
Super Mario 3 (on order)
Gremlins 2 (on order)

I am not really looking for factory sealed games, not even CIB one. Just the cartridge will do fine for me. Of course, it could be cool to have the game CIB!

@scott: You should definately get to that!
@psydswipe: There's still some little things that hold me back (i.e.: the part in the first Max Payne where you have to follow a track of blood and the baby's crying.

Finally!!! March 2012 is the date!!! I just can't wait for it to come. It's one of my favourite games series of all time (I completed the first MP about 5 times, and the second one 3 times). I simply can't wait to play this one!

Here a link to the official trailer`

Gamebuzz are purely and simply thieves. Damn, I was looking for a Pokemon Blue cartridge lately, and they had a beaten up one, with the label partially ripped off for 24,99$. God dammit'

the bastards that really think they know everything...

I was talking to a reseller the other day, selling him on vgcollect, and he didn't know anything about variations. I was explaining the disc variants on some of the Working Designs games, like Dragon Force, and the difference between an original release and a Majesco release SNES game.  The only thing he really knew was that there are regular editions, collector's editions and "greatest hits" editions, and that he can get "way more for a black label PS1 game, than a Greatest Hits version". I educated him over the course of the conversation, but at the same time I didn't mention if certain variant Saturn discs are supposedly worth more that others. Ha

Ha!

I was talking about one in particular I had to encounter at a local store. He was all like " yeah, yeah, that's rare and that's rare ", but damn, friday the 13th is nowhere near rare and a beaten up copy certainly isn't worth 20$!!!

I think it's the same thing as alot of people who already posted here: resellers...

I hate the bastards that really think they know everything, and try to sell you games that aren't worthing that much. Yeah, try to make me believe that a beaten-up copy of Friday the 13th on NES is very rare and worth 20$....

Classic Video Games / Can't remember the name of a game

Hey guys!

For some days now, I have a game that's stuck in my mind, but I just can't seem to find the name.

Here are some infos I do remember about it, hope it'll help:

- It's a Genesis Game (if has been ported on another system, please let me know)
- It's a war game in which each army has their side of the screen
- The graphics are cartoonish and sometimes, you can see comic bubbles popping at the top of the soldiers head with messages like " MEDIC!!! "
- The cover art (if I remember it correctly) is the face of two men facing each other.

I hope it helps you guys and thanks in advance for the help!

The point of the VGA grading is, for me, more of a personal/sentimental reason more than anything else. Kirby's Adventure was my favourite childhood game. I could spend hours playing this one without getting bored. I consider this one as being the game that really started my love for video games and the VGA grading is a way for me to preserve a significant piece of my childhood memories :)Of course, i'll buy a loose cartridge to be able to play it also!

That's the point :)

@scott

thank you for that fix :)

I'm so happy I finally was able to get my hand on a Brand New, Factory sealed game!!!
I'll send it soon to VGA to get it graded. Can't wait!! :)

It's nothing big, but i'm really happy of it! :)
