Modern Video Games / Re: Secret of Mana remake

They have already made a 2d remake

Besides 3d gives this game a different look might be kinda interesting to try out.

Maybe upon release you can choose both 3d and 2D grapics.

When did they remake Secret of Mana?

I think the mobile phone version is what they're talking about?

Was that also on Steam?

Not that I know of. The new one is coming to Steam though supposedly.

Alright here we go.

NES and Super Mario Bros / Duck Hunt

Gameboy SP Silver
Pokemon Platinum
Pokemon White
Final Fantasy IX
Final Fantasy XII : The Zodiac Age
Persona 5

And the grand reveal. Final Fantasy III (VI) in almost mint condition, with everything included. (The booklet has the most wear)

That LE is so tempting. I do hope we get any sort of physical release here in NA.

Picked up my 7th copy of Skyrim if you count the free Special Edition for PC.  This one is a PS3 Greatest Hits release to go along with my PS3 Legendary Edition Greatest Hits release I picked up recently.  It was $2.69!  Score!

You're making Todd Howard proud.

EDIT : Also forgot to mention I have someone at a pawnshop holding an NES and a copy of Final Fantasy III in mint condition CIB for the SNES.

dang that is one of my all time favorite RPG's I would have one CIB if the copy I own wasn't so sentimental to me. if you have never played it before definitely put it in and play it!

Yeah as nice as having something you want to keep in perfect condition is, these games were meant to be played and I wouldn't want to pass up on the chance to actually play it. The game isn't sealed or anything, and I intend on keep everything that comes with it in the box, but I will probably use the cartridge itself. It just has everything in box, in near perfect condition ( i didnt see any damage on anything whatsoever )

I wanna thank everyone who gave their suggestions. At the moment i have very little space to consider building my own. I just ended up getting the shelf i posted about. It's the perfect fit for me right now, especially considering my collection is fairly small.

In the future though, when I have a lot more room to work with, and when my collection is a lot other, I'll most likely build my own shelving.

This is how much room I had to work with. (Don't have anywhere else to put the boxes)

Also note the size of my current collection.

I always found the 3D effect to be kinda gimmicky, and it always hurt my eyes no matter what setting it was at. There are also some games that just outright don't even use the 3D effect and have it disabled.

Was about to jump on that Gameboy Player but you don't ship to Canada. :(

I didn't even know they were opening pre-orders today. They all sold out in less than 3 minutes here in Canada. Meanwhile I was stuck at work unaware. :(

Final Fantasy Tactics was my first. Got it when I was 7 years old and if I'm remembering correctly, got pretty close to the end of the game.

Managed to get these today.

I've been eyeing this shelf for a couple days now, but was wondering if anyone else knew if there were better options.

im not sure how big into collecting you are (if you will ever fill more than 1 bookcase) but the bottom of that unit will make it waste a lot of space if you ever buy a second one just because you can not butt them up together.

I've technically only just started collecting, and my collection isn't very big yet. My current space restriction is about the size of a wide closet (5ft wide) and building my own is something I've never really done, nor do I have the time or tools to do so.

Room space is also a concern at the moment too, which is why i was looking at the smaller size. Being in Canada, even a basic bookshelf can seem pretty expensive here. I've been looking in a few places I know and there's not much for quality or size.

Hey everyone. Was wondering what people recommended for storing games in on a budget. Like a bookshelf or something similar.

I've been eyeing this shelf for a couple days now, but was wondering if anyone else knew if there were better options.
