I'm looking forward to this, it's at 9pm my local time so I'm going to Facetime my girlfriend and get her live reactions to it all.

Usually this stuff happens in the early hours of the morning here.

They should have the release date and price. I've seen the size of the Xbox Series X and I'm pretty sure I'd rather have the PS5. I'm enticed by Demon Souls and Gran Turismo 7 and quite excited to see what else they'll show in this showcase, especially with it happening on a Wednesday breaking up my work week right in the middle.

If you expected a collection of three mario games with a physical release to be anything other than $60 - I don’t know what to tell you.

I immediately showed the trailer to my dad and even he said ‘probably £50’ (I.e. full retail) and he’s old and doesn’t play games.

Well of course it’s worth it to spend less on an identical thing, by the very nature it’s better value - the same thing at less cost.

However your examples are not identical items,  a $1000 tailored suit is not the same thing as a Macy’s suit nor is exotic food the same thing as cheap food from McDonalds.

The Outer Worlds Peril on Gorgon was the stand out for me.

It's basically Fallout, before Fallout got sh**y with 4 and 76.

Really good game. Love open world action rpgs done well.
