I never have this problem, I know what games I have/don't and whether or not the price is good.  I'm sure if I was one of the individuals going after complete sets and all that jazz it wouldn't be so easy, but I digress.

Seems like I've been going back and finishing up things lately. Jumped back into Yakuza 3 to finish up it to 100%, those minigames can be a pain in the ass sometimes. Just gotta clear EX Hard mode, and some other misc stuff.

The original Doom for me, classic.

Neat, already bought it on PS4 or I would have picked up this version.

I'll lend titles to friends who I know will take care of them. I lent a Nintendo DS Lite and some games to my friend's younger brother and he lost a few of the games and damaged the system. There are certain titles I won't lend if they're valuable too. I'm a major freak about titles I've bought brand-new as well and usually don't lend them out. If it's a disc based game I'll keep the box and manual and just lend the disc in one of these:

For any cart games I lend I use the NES clamshell cases like these:

Overall though, I'd feel comfortable lending games to anyone on this site because everyone is a collector and (presumably) takes care of their video game titles. I'll lend controllers and system accessories too because they're hard to ruin/damage. I don't mind people touching rarities/valuables in my collection as long as they've cleaned their hands. (I've got hand-sanitizer in my game room for a reason)
A couple of weeks ago, I was at work and my brother had a friend over, they got drunk and his friend spilt beer on my N64 shelf. Thankfully it didn't get in any of the carts (because they have pin covers on them) or damage the labels. I know it was an accident, but it upsets me when people don't take care of my things. Bottom line, if you take care of it your things and I know you'll take care of mine, I'll lend you games, If not, I won't.
I do the same thing when lending out games, the case/manual just has a chance of getting damaged in my mind.
Yup, I lent a game a while back and my friend's sister chewed on the spine of the case and left a booger on the manual. I kid you not.
That poor game, children can be pretty nasty at times.
His entire XBOX collection had teeth marks on the spines. I don't know how he could stand it.
Makes me cringe, I couldn't stand it either. I don't see how someone could be ok with that.

I'm just started playing Persona on the PSP... I can't believe this game is 20 years old but sometimes, yeah, I can definitely believe it >.<

I'm enjoying it - played it for about 9 hours straight yesterday and not tired of it yet.  Feels so good to play something on my PSP again and finally making use of my component cables!
The only problem I have with the Persona port on PSP is the music change. Very happy there is an audio option in P2: IS for the original soundtrack, albeit its just remixed tracks as opposed to the whole new OST they did with Persona 1. The component cables for the PSP are very nice, I've got a lot of mileage out of mine. Have fun and check out the P2 duology next if you can/haven't, my personal favorite in the series.

So far the music is great for me but the repetitive battle music sometimes can't be tuned out, ha.  I do indeed own the P2 games (IS on PSP and EP on PS1) and hopefully will not be burnt out on Persona by the time I'm done with 1!  The animation sequences for the PSP port are pretty nice, too, but I haven't seen any footage from the original PS1 version.
I feel the atmospheric OST of the original Persona 1 fits it much better than the Jpop in the PSP port. It's really a shame we didn't get the updated EP on PSP in English, the slooowwww system of the original PS1 version is hard to go back to after the revamped ports.

My dad never really played videogames a lot, but he love Frogger. Frogger 2 specifically, we played it all the time taking turns per life.

Soundtracks, Art books, Plushies, Statues Etc. All is well with me if done right. It really depends on a lot of variables. I really liked the Valkyrie Chronicles remastered storybook that came out recently. Usually not a big steel book fan, but the slipcover really makes it come together IMO.
