I am currently trying to add my collection and I have to say it's quite a pain in the ass to sort out the different versions. Mostly, the games seems to be multilingual, but sometimes there are specific language versions. Those usually have a different code, so at least with PlayStation and Nintendo games, that's easy to determine. The covers and manuals however, are a total mess. Sometimes English only, sometimes country specific, sometimes multilingual (EN/FR/DE/ES/IT seems to be some kind of standard), sometimes a weird combination like FR/NL...
Maybe we could have one database entry per game and add other languages as alternate cover art, like on The Cover Project, e.g. http://www.thecoverproject.net/view.php?game_id=1570
At least when the game is identical for all countries, this would make managing the database a little easier.

During one of my uploads, I lost my internet connection. I later submitted everything again, without knowing that the game had already been partially added to the database. Sorry for the mess. Could you please remove http://vgcollect.com/item/66389 from the database? It's the incomplete entry.

Can totally understand that you needed a break. Going through each and every edit has to be a lot of work for a site like this.

I am new to the site and I have been adding and editing some entries during the last days. How long does it usually take until the edits are accepted or rejected? I don't see any notifications and the database entries are still unchanged, even the ones I created myself (and later added artwork for). So I am a little confused. Am I missing something? I am a little hesitant to edit any other entries if the changes are somehow lost or I am doing something wrong.
