At the moment I have a scrabby part time job at a sports store. Not exactly worthy of funding the ultra rare games. I manage to get about 1 game in a month at the moment.

It'd be better if it wasn't for friends trying to take up my time by making me go outside.

I'm avoiding targeting specific games and just getting whatever happens to be easiest at the time.

Sometimes that's finding a nice copy of Disgaea fall into my hands for cheap, or accidently bidding too much on ebay.

Mostly to play the games I missed as a kid, I remember being a bit of an J-RPG geek as a kid but never really having any money to buy anything myself - mostly I'd just get whatever FF title was out that year and that would be it, as FIFA would also be a definite purchase.

And every time I buy a new one I get so much closer to a bigger collection, that it would be silly to stop collecting and being so close to having a *real* collection.

Plus, it looks good on my shelves =)

I really should try some charity shops and the like, but I never really get the urge to go in. Mostly I'm resigned to paying ebay prices and hoping to get a bit of luck with a bad spelling or something like that. (Worked very well for my Parasite "Evil" II game+guide I got)

Knowing a few friends who are ignorant to the value of some games is great too.

I'm "Possebon", obviously that's not my real name, but Richard's a pretty shit name and I try and avoid it.

I'm guessing I'm the only person from Europe considering I've had to input pretty much every game I own so far - ah well.

I'm mostly collecting PS1 / PS2 (not exactly retro, but you know), with a view of getting more but not really wanting to start it until I feel I've made more progress with the Playstation games.
