honestly the people behind those ai systems are  assholes.  I didnt gave them permission to use my data  for their own dirty gains and especialy soemthing as terrible as ai.

I get that ai in itself isnt bad  but its just like guns it will be used for bad stuff.

the issue is though that bad parties have the monopoly on ai  and it wont be long till you cnat believe ANYTHING  anymore ebcause of it.

I just wish I knew if demo counted or not.

@dhaabi at what number of games am I now exactly? I cna use that number to find out if the demo does count or not  since I have 32 umd movies  so I should take that number you cna give me add the umd movies and compare to the current displayed number

I don't have that kind of back-end information to know specifically if Demo items count toward the badge total, so wait until an Admin can reply.

considering they are count seperate don't think they do, that being said in this case the demo's wouldn't get the guy over the 4K mark.

umd video's aren't demo material but they ain't games either so also not counted

You wouldn't know from sworddude's comment. They have no idea how the back-end of the system operates and can only speculate.

With that said, I've confirmed Demos type items have no value toward the badge total. Only Games and Games - Digital types items do. Why the badges function like this to begin with is something I've wondered about for some time, though.

Badge levels are determined by the total of Games in one's collection and not total item. At this time, I believe your current count of Games-type items is 3,968.

sorry for the late response I forgot to keep track but hows does that work exactly since I only add games anyway i dont add systems merch etc at all.

For each sub-category, their respective items have a specific Item Type which members can see outlined in the Collection Breakdown section on About pages. Here is your page for quick reference. As you can see, you do not only have Games-type items added to your collection. You have a small number of Accessories added, but the the main reason you've not reached the 4,000 Games total is due to PSP UMD Video items added which are classified as Home Videos. I'm not sure if Demos serve toward the badge total count or not, which I also mention because you have a few added.

yeah I figered that out myselfthe psp at elast I do hope the demo counts since I have only 1  which was  soemthing you needed to buy.

for me this is actualy a god thing I was so sad my 4000th game as just an random one now I have an 2nd chance to make it memorable

Yeah. There's no way in hell I'm buying a PS5 Pro. Even here in the States (we're not united anymore so no point in putting that part in), it's $700 which is paltry in comparison to the $880 expected from those living in the EU.

1. No disc drive. (seperate cost of $80) 120 euro in europe which is another 133 dollar to givve an comparison
2. Devs can't even max out the PS5 as it is.
3. Little to no discernable difference in visuals.
4. Few games of interest for the entire generation.
5. No games in the pipe that are must haves.

No thanks Sony. Take the PS5 Pro and shove it up your greedy asses.

I'm sure we're all aware of how dead VGcollect has been for the last few years with it seemingly getting worse and worse over time. It seems like we're pretty much down to a dozen or so users that regularly post on here. It's not uncommon for me to not see a single new post in an existing thread for a few days. As for new topics, it seems like one pops up every few weeks if even that, and for a while half of them were troll or delusional rambling posts by a certain user.


This genuinely bums me out as VGcollect has probably been my favorite online forum community since I joined this site about a decade ago. Everyone here for the most part has been super cool, laid back, and friendly, which is a rarity in online forums and even Facebook groups. Speaking of Facebook, while I do belong to a few gaming/collecting groups there, it just doesn't do it for me the same way that good old forums like this do. I want to see this site become a vibrant place for gaming discussion again, however it doesn't feel like VGcollect has been that for 5 or 6 years now, and even then it was a fraction of what it was like when I first joined.


Is there anyway to make this forum lively and fun again, or has pretty much everyone moved on, never to return?

verry doubtfull considering how the staff treats people who  try to start an inigitave or something. honestly unless that changes drasticly i see no hope for it becomming verry active agaian.

first off the rude people here are actualy the mods who where rude from the get go.

also  explain to me how you collect  digital games while  the servers for the store are permanently down?

honestly it was so oblius I cnat believe  I have to explain it. sorry if expecting an bit of common sense is too much.

also i wasnt rude to snyder at all  if mentiong the list ist complete and saying I couldnt care less about digital games is considered rude already  I honestly dont know what to say.

this isnt kindergarten I would think.

sworddude  at least get why I am so pissed about this.

but I am most pissed about myself for wanting to do something fun and nice here.

it has been called the pal region for literly over 25 years at this point. I checked your link and i dont see how thats relevant I am not asking for an history lesson.

honestly thats such basic knowledge.

There is no complete list for 3ds for the pal region so I am trying to make one or at least as close as possible.  Its verry hard due to the same game having multiple names due to languages etc.  I try to stick with the English names unles its not possible. This is the current list I still have a long way to go but I hope people can help me. Most games that we are missing are the shovelware games the insane amount of horse games etc.

Lets try to get the biggest list of releases on the 3ds right here on this site:)
