They both exist.

30th Anniversary version has P/N PUA-NVL-C-AKAF-JPN-C0 on the back.
Consoles shown are Wii U and 3DS

Red square version has P/N PUA-NVL-C-AKAF-JPN-C1 on the back
Console shown are Switch, Wii U and 3DS

There is also a difference to the content to the right of the Zelda image on the back between both.

We should use this longer number on the back for the item number, and put the figure's item number NVL-C-AKAF-(JPN) into description field.

I ordered the exact amiibo from the Amazon link I provided further up.  Upon receiving it, I noticed it was different than others I had seen (30th Series).  It does indeed have the red square at the base of the packaging, but the biggest difference is that on the top left of the front of the packaging it doesn't include the red triangle that says "The Legend of Zelda 30th".  I don't have the other amiibo to compare it to physically, so I can't attest to the differences between the backs, but it looks like tripredacus has done a fair amount of research!  Thanks to that, the mystery is solved.   

I will go ahead and create the entry again, this time with a bit more extensive info.  Thanks, all who helped.

It is the exact same item, even the barcodes and item numbers match - except the packaging is much different.  The entry that already existed has The Legend of Zelda 30th Series packaging, whereas the entry I created did not.  I even denoted it in the item description. 

No biggie if an admin would rather the two items remain as one in the database, I just saw them as two separate entries in my mind.

Just posted a separate entry for the Japanese import of the 8-bit Link amiibo.  Even though it has the same barcode and item number, the packaging for it is different than The Legend of Zelda 30th Series amiibo.  I noticed once I posted it, the entry was deleted - curious as to why?

Yes. For instance, now that Rainbow Six Vegas came out on the 16th, Magic the Gathering 2013 is no longer a free download. A new game will be available on the 1st of October that will replace Rainbow Six Vegas.

I'm not really a shooter fan, so I haven't the foggiest if it's a good game or not. I do know that CoD/MW fans tend to like the Tom Clancy games.

If you had the choice of 20 video games of your choosing (not including arcade cabinets) or 20 albums of your choosing (any format); which would you choose? And if you want to include it, which ones?

I would definitely choose games over CDs.  There was a time in my life where music was more important than video games, and I would have chosen the opposite.  I have quite a music collection amassed, but I care more for my video game collection.  Maybe that's just how it is when you get older.  ...Or something.

EDIT:  Also, on a semi-related note, GameStop is doing a Buy2Get2 (online only) sale on their pre-owned PS2 games and accessories.  Not much to choose from, but I did go ahead and get Katamari Damaci, Mega Man Anniversary Collection, Devil May Cry 3 (Special Edition), and Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows - the latter two were free.
