I still have a Philips Odyssey 2100, it used to belong to my dad and was allready in the family before i was born. It was allways hooked up on the family TV untill we got an Atari 2600.

The first system I saved for myself was my NES.

General / Re: Do you buy games you know you probably won't play?

When I see games that are underpriced or on sale for a limited time I buy them so I have cheap stuff to trade with friends and I resell stuff on Marktplaats, a Dutch website like EBay.
It's a nice way to expand my collection while keeping the costs a little bit down.

Hardware and Tech / NES Game label restoration

Hello gamers,

Today I bought a NES game, the label has some air bubbles between the plastic layer and the label. The label under the plastic layer is still in good condition but looks ugly.
Does anyone have experience with this issue on how to make it look nice again?
I was thinking of heating up the plastic with a hair dryer, but am not sure if this will make it worse or damage the label itself.
Any tips or tricks would be appreciated.

I hate motion controls in 3DS games, my 3ds XL feels to large to move it arround while playing and the 3d effect hurts my eyes when the screen is not perfectly in front of me.
At least some games have the option to disable them, like Starfox64 3D. Where you can choose to play with the original N64 controls.

And I hate grind fests, one of the main reasons I quit WOW.
