Video Game Database Discussion / Re: How release countries could end up being a problem

The big problem with changing it, is that the Canada/United States difference in packaging only applies to some games. There are a lot of games that get released in Canada that are exactly the same ones as the ones in the States: same english packaging as them. It would probably a pain to split all of the NA games in two when some of them are the same. Also, the NA part represents for the region of the game and not the country specifically. I think it's just better to specify each variation individually.

I think putting the reviews in the forums could be a little confusing. We could maybe put a side-tab on the game itself, with reviews being a seperate entity from the database, which itself could be moderated for reviews that are interesting and detaliled; not just game bashing and/or 1 sentence reviews.

I think this could be a pretty good idea. Since everyone have a lot of varied genres and games, they could be more honest about both the good parts and the bad parts of games without being forced to as score and/or a policy.

Huh...Hmm...Good question, actually - I've never even thought about that.

I'm not sure because some of my games are trilingual (English, French and Spanish) and they would be a pain to write, but they're part of the text so I'm not sure...
