Any game you get 'free' on Live! or PSN that you pay subs for
Any mobile game that has a pay to win ethic
Any game like Fifa that has 'Lootboxes'

The methods might be less transparent but there are many games where you pay as you play, even if its a fraction of a subscription.

Hard to classify, but on time spent playing and how good I felt playing them:

1.   Emlyn Hughes' International Soccer (Amstrad CPC464)
2.   It Came From The Desert (Commodore Amiga)
3.   Pitfall 2 (Atari VGS)
4.   Flashback (Sega Megadrive)
5.   Mega Lo Mania (Commodore Amiga)
6.   The Last of Us (Playstation 3)
7.   Project Gotham Racing (Xbox)
8.   Morrowind (PC)
9.   Super Mario 64 (Nintendo 64) <- I remember where I was and exactly how I felt when I plugged this in. It was absolutely breathtaking. Like the first time I saw what a 3Dfx card could do for my PC...It made my jaw drop.
10. Minecraft (PC)  <- I am too old and busy with work to spend days on a game these days so this is ideal for a drop in and out and build my world type of deal
