For me, the easiest and most enjoyable set to collect for was the PS2. There’s a huge library, lots of mid-tier titles still affordable, and you can stumble on hidden gems without hunting for months. The Switch is fun too, but prices rise fast, especially for limited prints, so I mostly go for games I actually plan to play.
On the other hand, collecting for Sega Saturn and PS1 has been rough. Too much variance in condition, and many sellers overprice anything even slightly uncommon. I still pick up titles here and there, but only when the deal feels fair.
