I was thinking about doing Evil Dead Fist Full Of Boomstick. But then I think I should play Regeneration instead since it's a MUCH better game.

I have a Chase H.Q. cabinet. It's in utter disrepair though. I made a video about it a while back before I really knew what I wanted to do with my channel.

I have absolutely no idea how to fix it, nor do I have the money to pay someone for repairs. In the mean time I'm gonna keep it in storage until I can get it fixed.

Secure links don't work with embedding.

I don't understand. The link in your quote is the same I get when I copy from the video. What am I doing wrong?

The original XBox's "Duke " controller. That thing was WAY to damn huge. Maybe my hands are too small, but it wasn't until I got to use the "S" controller that could I really play the system.

Most recently mission 43 "Shining Lights, Even in Death" of Metal Gear Solid 5. MAJOR SPOILERS if you haven't played.

There's another Wolbachia outbreak on Mother Base. You go in to find out what has happened and save your men. Unfortunately, there is no saving any of the infected. In order to contain the outbreak you must kill your own men! Some don't want to die and will try to stop you. Some are in such shock and beg for the lives. Lastly, there are some that understand and accept their fate but want you to kill them. Your men salute you as you shoot them in the head. All while the theme from Peace Walker plays. These aren't just some random NPCs. These are YOUR men. People you've Fulton extracted and volunteers. When they're dead they're dead. After which there's a funeral service. Venom Snake stops just before the ashes of his men from the outbreak are spread at sea. He instead decides to spread some on his face and say "I won't scatter your sorrow to the heartless sea. I will always be with you. Plant your roots in me. I won't see you end as ashes. You're all diamonds." He decides that they will make diamonds from their ashes and take them into battle. From that point on in the game you have a diamond on your left arm in their memory. Such a powerful scene.

The last level of The Simpons Hit And Run on GameCube. Alien "Auto"topsy Part III. Holy shit, fuck this level. Spoilers if you haven't played it.

Quote
Talk to Grampa and ask him whether you can use his car, but he worries that you're going to risk his life to save everyone elses. Nonetheless, he drives out of the playground to the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant where the black car races you to the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant. When you win, you have to take the waste and drive to the school. You will encounter the black car once more at the house in front of the Krusty glass. You must avoid him to advance. Once you've lost him, you've got 30 seconds to get to the playground. Once there, drive your car into the tractor beam for a final time. The alien craft explodes, thus killing Kang and Kodos (not sure about Grampa, though, as he is also sucked into the tractor beam, and he never appears again afterwards).
-Simpsons Wikia

Racing against the black car is just ridiculous. You aren't given a fair enough time to do everything with how fast and aggressive the black car dives against you. You can't mess up once or else you run out of time. I must have done that level over 100 times before I got it. I've never screamed that hard at a game, or really anything, before. Thing is the difficulty comes out of nowhere because the ENTIRE rest of the game is fun and challenging in a fair way.

Some of my best finds have been in thrift stores. I got Earthbound and Little Samson at Salvation Army and Goodwill stores, both for $5 each. And I live in a small ass town in the middle of nowhere! Networking is your best bet when collecting anything. Stores that I frequent know what I'm looking for when I come in. Some even hold back items for me cause they know I'll at least be interested. Get friendly with thrift store employees and owners. You might even get discounts if you're a regular. It just takes time and luck. But, if enjoy the hunt just as much as playing the games as much as I do, it won't feel like a drag.

My wife and I played Action 52 on the Genesis. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-_bPKkBCYV0 The one good thing I can say about the Genesis version over the NES version is at least all the games play. With the exception of the Game Master Challenge. That always freezes on the second game for me.

I bought my Wii U from Nintendo as refurbished and it's absolutely perfect. It did come in a different box. But it looked brand new. The only real downside was it didn't come with the charge base and extra stands. But, I was able to get those from Walmart a few days later for like $5. I highly recommend buying directly from Nintendo, refurbished or not.

General / Re: Why do you collect?
« on: May 31, 2015, 11:00:56 pm »
I collect cause I'm a gamer. I love playing games. Good, bad, mediocre, whatever. I want have as many experiences as I can.

On top of that I have a big desire to play games I missed out on as a kid. For example I had never even heard of the TurboGrafx-16 growing up. And I wish I had. It's an awesome system.

I have my own channel that I'm pretty proud of. I'm trying to get it back into full swing again. Plus I've started monetizing! Link is in my signature.

Classic Video Games / Re: Poll: How do you pronounce NES
« on: January 30, 2014, 07:56:39 pm »
I usually say "ness" or spell it N-E-S. But sometimes I catch myself saying "the Nintendo." Since that's what we mainly said back in the day. But when it comes to Super Nintendo I always spell it out S-N-E-S. I can't stand "sness." Why? I have no clue.

I believe I was living in West Virginia when we got the NES. That or North Carolina.
