With controllers, always original. As a child i used to play Silent Hill 2 with a 3rd party controller and couldn't figure out why my attacks were always the same (as in either one handed weapon swing or full two handed jab) and i realized years later it's because the 3rd party controller didn't have pressure sensitive buttons so tapping or holding onto X would always be inputted as the same force. So never again i said. When it comes to SNES or N64 i cannot handle stiff buttons or d-pads. I'll sometimes play F-ZERO 99 and it really bugs me that the SNES controller for the Switch is super stiff which makes me suck at the game (I'm actually really good i promise :P)

Now i do use 3rd party multi-taps for PS2 because every OEM one i have ever owned tends to cause my console to not turn on at all for some odd reason.
Also i definitely use 3rd party cable extensions as long as they work idc if they are OEM or not hehe.

Currently, Tokyo Xtreme Racer Zero on PS2. Man is this game fun and the music kicks ass, i love how non-traditional it is compared to other racing games. Racing in this actually feels like a battle if that makes sense. I recently beat the first one on Dreamcast and looking forward to getting a copy of the sequel, just gotta get lucky and find one not super expensive.

Also playing Postal on Dreamcast, i've beaten this game several times but finally put my big boy pants on and attempting it on hard mode. It's too bad the Dreamcast controller doesn't come with twin sticks, may have to look into getting a PS2 adapter cause the official twin sticks for DC is ridiculous in price.

Side Pocket for Super Nintendo. You'd think a game about billiards with a KILLER soundtrack and awesome title screen would be fun but it's just trick shots with limited attempts otherwise game over and you gotta start over. A standard chill pool game against AI was too much to ask for apparently. But yeah due to this, the game can get very boring and tedious pretty fast.

Zombies Ate My Neighbors for Switch. Originally on the Super Nintendo, Zombies Ate My Neighbors is one of the coolest and challenging games of the "survival" genre and dare i say "zombie" genre (though not really cause zombies are only 1 of many different enemy types). The game features a really cool George A Romero style menu/title screen with very eerie music and the game soundtrack itself is very great sometimes even anxiety inducing on certain levels (IYKYK). Anyway, the Switch pretty much took the charm away by removing the title screen/menu, and all the audio is slightly pitched up higher and ends up sounding ridiculous thus killing the awesome vibe it originally had.

Also Rogue Warrior but it's fun to hear all the ridiculous inner dialogue.

EDIT: I was typing this all up at work and ran out of time, i still have more complaining to do.

uhh mfkn uhh South Park Chef's Luv Shack I don't even have to say why for this one. How did Acclaim and Iguana drop the ball 3 times with South Park Rally and South Park also!? From the devs who made the legendary Turok 2: Seeds Of Evil, you'd expect high quality fun from at least one of them.

SSX Tricky GBA port i cannot even get it to play, sometimes when the planets allign and the moon is full, i can get the character to do a spin in the air. Probably a skill issue on my part.  :P
