I am not a big movie goer, I tend to fall asleep. Directtv is having free viewing of HBO and Showtime so watched Life of Pi. I have to say it was a pretty good movie.

I picked up a sealed GameBoy Cleaning Kit. Not sure why as I am not a sealed anything collector. It is not perfect and some of the plastic is missing but it has never been opened.

Picked up Little Nemo Dream Master for NES at a big $2, it came with a yellow clear Nintendo case.

That game was deceiving for me, as a kid. It looked so cool, and the graphics were eye-popping (for the time, Capcom really knew how to work the NES). But the gameplay was so strange and foreign, that I didn't have a great time with it.

That's because it looked like a kid's game, but was really hard.  I did the same thing when I was a kid.  It's more do-able now

@redblaze - I'll give you $5 for it right now.  Seriously though, Great pick up

I have never played it. I am redoing my Game setup right now so I have to wait till I get my cart shelf built to try it out.

Picked up my 4th Sega GameGear with Super Columns for $8. It like my others has bad caps. I guess now would be a good time to order a few cap kits.

Found a pretty good priced lot of SNES games today at $2 each and 2 Intellivision games at $0.77. Total after tax $19.85. I was surprised to find these at this Goodwill cause I know the area I was at is full of resellers and a used game store.
SNES
Championship Pool, John Madden Football '93, NFL Football, Paperboy 2, PGA Tour Golf, Street Fighter II, Super Mario Kart, Super Return Of The Jedi, Tecmo Super NBA Basketball.

Intellivision(not sure why since I don't have the system)
Venture, NFL Football

At my close by Goodwill I found TailSpin and Blaster Master for $5.05 each. It's neat how one Goodwill prices cart games at $1.91 and other Goodwills price them at $5.05. I passed on Infiltrator due to the $5.05 price. I already have it.

I also passed on a bag of cords with a NES Advantage in it. It had a SNES power pack and a couple Sega 3 button controllers for $20.

Picked up another broken black GameGear. This one puts me at 2 black and 1 blue. It came with Sonic so not all bad for $5. I keep putting off buying the cap kits to fix them.

It is going to get loaded with a spare system and a few of my spare favourite games and going on a shelf. Kind of like a bug out bag.

I picked up one of these for $3.50 at a Goodwill. No box just the bag.

Mine the logo in the bottom right corner is around on the right side in the lower left corner. Also from what I have seen most have red insides where mine has black. It is also rip free and pretty clean. I would have taken a pic but the wife has the camera and she is in India at the moment.

I don't really care to have sealed games. I like to play them and no emulating is not the same as playing the cart. I also really do not mess with disk based games I leave that to the kid. If I ever decide to get sealed games it will be a few games I had as a kid that are my favourites. The Legend of Zelda, Kid Icarus, Metroid, and maybe the the Marios and they will go on the wall in shadow boxes. I really do not see it happening though. I pretty much stick to thrifts for my games, sometimes I go to the used game store and see if I can get the 5 for $5 deal. I just do this for fun.

Picked up

Tiger Heli - NES
Hoops - NES
Tetris 2 - SNES

All for a buck each.

I also grabbed a Wii from Goodwill for $20 untested. It has the component cable so it was marked untested. I get it home and it suffers from laser death. It works just doesn't play games. I took it apart and cleaned it all up but still get the Eject game and turn off screen. Oh well now I need to figure if I want to replace the laser or "hack and mod" it.

I thought this was going to be a Grateful Dead thread   :'(

I was looking for a way to keep track of my collection. I got mad at NA's deal they have cause I spent a lot of time clicking boxes and right before I clicked send the site failed so all that work was lost. I found it from Google. Never really noticed the link in peoples post over on NA till after I put it in mine.

Grateful Dead only had one hit Touch of Grey. It was there only song to make the Billboards and it only made it to number 9. It was also the only song they had a video for.

I can remember watching MTV before going to school in 1987 hoping it would come on.
