At the moment I'm currently playing/juggling a few games, on the 3DS I'm playing Azure Striker Gunvolt (played & beat Mighty Gunvolt first so I've only managed to complete 2 of this game's missions so far), on the the Xbox 360 I've been playing Dark Souls (I'm really bad at the game as the skeletons outside of Firelink Shrine keep kicking my butt especially the ones in the crypt that keep coming back), and on PS3 I recently started playing PS1 game Fear Effect for the first time.

Did anyone else check out this comic-based show?

I just watched the pilot episode last night, and I've got the 2nd episode waiting for me. I've never read the comic, so I have no comparison to it. But on it's own, it was a fan-freaking-tastic show! It felt like a well-made movie from the late 80s or 90s. It had similar pacing and dialogue, which to me is a good thing. But the special effects and production values were leagues beyond that era, top-notch here. And I always like a good vampire story, when it involves real, killer vampires that don't sparkle.

This will be one I will definitely continue to watch.

Your thoughts on it?

(Mod edit: Image changed into a link because OH MY GOD THAT IS SOME BODY HORROR CRAP)

Just thought y'all would like to know that it's not based on a comic book, it actually started out as a rejected pitch for a TV show that was then turned into a book trilogy (The Strain, The Fall, The Night Eternal) by Guillermo Del Toro & Chuck Hogan which was later adapted into a comic book and then it came full circle with the FX series.

As far as my impressions, well so far the show's not too bad (after 2 episodes), but there are somethings from the books that I don't think they'll be able to pull off especially on a TV show.

I picked up Gotham City Imposters, Urban Trial Freestyle, and  Crash 2 after hearing about this sale though I was also tempted to pick up Red Faction 2 as well as Back to the Future: The Game.
