Ok, understood, I guess it's a nice excuse to go over my collection once in a while.

Thanks!

So I maye have submitted something, it didn't got trough (maybe a mistake in the name, the boxart, whatever...) and I wouldn't know. I would think that item is forever on my list and I can "forget" about it, but it isn't..?

Anyone else has any info on this?

Again, it's just to be sure I know my collection is complete, I love the website and the work you guys do :)

Hey, thanks for your answer.

It seems to me however that on the triangle on the top right corner you can only see your EDITS, but not your SUBMITTED items... so the question remains.

Thanks anyway.

Hello there,
as a lot of you I guess, I have submitted several items to the website. Now, I was thinking, what if one of those items was not accepted by the admins for any reasons? Will I be notified?

I'm scared thinking that I may have submitted some items that didn't got accepted and I wouldn't know that those items are not in my list.

And just to be sure, if an item is duplicated, when the more incomplete one is deleted by the admins, both items merge, right?

Thanks for the good job, people. Love the website.

I didn't think of that option, thanks.

Hi,
I haven't seen this suggestion there so there it is. Sometimes I want to see my latest additions to my collection, or I want to check what games I bought last month... but as far as I know, the only sorting way is alphabetically, right?

Thanks for reading it, nice job on the site!

Ok, thanks Matt!

Hello guys!

I'm a newbie here. I was trying different sites to catalog my collection, but I finally decided yo stay here in VGcollect. Looks good, works fine and the forum people seems nice :)

I'm from Spain and I collect mostly Nintendo stuff. Nowadays I'm playing 3DS, but the system that lives in the core of my heart is the N64. I also have some Steam stuff, but sadly, most of them remain unplayed (damn you Humble Bundles, you are so tempting!).

See you around!

Thanks for the welcoming :)

ffxik, the thing is that if you have a large number of items you will probably won't notice going trough your collection... I mean, one of the points of this collections is to help you remember your games! If one disappears I will most likely not notice.

Fazerco, I'm glad to hear that. That solution makes sense.

See you!

Video Game Database Discussion / New at this - What happens when deleted?
« on: October 07, 2014, 05:35:39 am »
Hi, this is my first post. I'm glad I found this web, looks really great.

I have a doubt. Since I had to add some games that were not already listed... what happens if eventually there are a duplicated item, and the administrators decide to erase the one in my collection?

What I mean is, if some item in my collection gets deleted... will I be notified?

I hope you understand what I mean.

Thanks a lot!

EDIT..........

This is a perfect example: there are two entries of Body Harvest for the N64. I guess I would have to choose one, but what happens if someday the one I chose is the one that gets deleted? Will it be erased and I will never know an item has disappeared from my collection?
