General / Re: what is the most broken game you've completed

Probably Fallout 3 on the PS3. When that game launched it was a sorry mess, and to an extent it still is now, but it was so much fun that I could see past how awfully broken it was and still put indecent numbers of hours into it.

I don't care for the new update, it seems to display less things now, and there are video adverts in some of the menus which are far more prominent than they were before, if they existed before.

I don't see what was Kinect unfriendly about the old menu, to be honest, in the same way that you can navigate the XMB with the Move, you could have navigated that with Kinect.

It's also possible that you upload .png files. Right now the system doesn't support that but won't throw an error. Make sure they are jpegs.

That'd be it. I looked for info on that in Style Guide, etc, but couldn't find anything of the sort. Do you plan on supporting the PNG format in the future? I mean even if you don't want to store PNGs due to file size concerns, you could always upload, ImageMagick them into JPG, then store them. :)

I just added the EU Chrono Trigger to the database, added art for the front, back and cart and it says "no art". Also, I added the EU Pokémon: Yellow with just the cart, but that also says "no art". :(

Easiest way to find these things would be to view my collection, as I added them there.

A collection of things - firstly, that's a shame, but nothing too horrible,  I'm sure you can recover.

Secondly, the phantom person who posted a thread about an SQL error was me, and yes, it was probably due to old cookies.

Modern Video Games / Re: Amazon Item Numbers
« on: December 09, 2011, 03:31:38 pm »
On the subject of item numbers, do Microsoft products have them at all on the packaging? Xbox games have some strange number on the spine, but it doesn't seem to follow any logical pattern, and X360 games don't have anything on the spine.

Also, thanks to Sony and Nintendo for making the things easy to find.
