I have a Halo 3 special edition console with a 250gb drive in it that's full.  I'm going to swap it out with an official Xbox 360 500gb hard drive I have laying around.

Do you plan on making a new save file for all your 360 games? and reinstalling all your games? because although my 360 has an internal memory stick about 4GB. as far as I know you need to use the cloud save state to get all of your stuff onto a different harddrive. Plus you might need to reformat your other hard drive losing even more data

But I don't use the 360's online cloud save feature, i just run everything off the hard drive, both save states, profiles and installed games themselves I took my 360 offline and it also helps reduce even more wear and tear I think. All Xbox 360s's I think need an online or offline profile in order to save and I don't think you can transfer one save state to another profile, but I cannot be sure on that though :-\

I don't think it's a good idea but thats me. I'd just buy another Xbox360 and upgrade that one to the 500GB hard drive,

I have the Xbox 360 hard drive transfer cable.  It'll transfer all content (profiles, saves, games, etc.) from the old drive to the new drive.  I did this awhile back when I swapped in a 250gb hard drive to replace the 20gb hard drive.

Here is an article about Phoenix Jones a real life “superhero” in Seattle.

The crime-fighting persona of “Phoenix Jones” has taken an interesting twist.

Jones is the alter ego of Seattle’s Ben Fodor, a mixed martial artist whose highest-profile fights were in World Series of Fighting.

In costume, Fodor garnered headlines through his vigilante crime patrols in downtown Seattle and adjacent neighborhoods.

But according to Seattle television station KOMO, Fodor recently found himself on the wrong side of the law, as he was arrested earlier this month in King County (Wash.) and faces multiple drug charges after allegedly selling Methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA) and cocaine.

According to KOMO, Jones sold 7.1 grams of MDMA, known on the streets as “Molly,” to an undercover agent of the Seattle Police Department at a Starbucks on Nov. 21. The agent had sent Fodor $300 via Venmo prior to the deal, paid another $200 in person, and had an agreement for a future deal.

That second transaction was consummated on Jan. 9, after which Fodor and alleged accomplice Andrea Irene Berendsen were arrested. Seven bundles of cocaine were discovered, according to the KOMO report.

This is not Fodor’s first run-in with law enforcement, as he has been cited eight times for driving on a suspended license.

Fodor was released on Jan. 11 and is scheduled for arraignment on Feb. 3.

In MMA, Fodor has a 7-3-1 record, which includes a 1-2 run in WSOF in 2015 and 2016. He last competed on Oct. 14, 2017, dropping a unanimous decision to Austin Vanderford in Tacoma, Wash.

but you need to have a newer model Xbox360 (S) to get the 500 gigabyte or higher.

But if you have a launch model you are forced to get the 20 gigabyte one :(

The newer Xbox 360 S and Xbox 360 E models use the internal hard drives available in 250gb, 320gb, and 500gb capacities.

The original model Xbox 360 use external hard drives available in 20gb, 60gb, 120gb and 250gb capacities.

Internal and external hard drives by third party companies are available in different capacities.

It's possible to swap different capacity hard drives into the internal or external cases and vice versa.  Outside of the official Microsoft hard drives, some modifications may/will be required.  I plan to swap a 500gb drive from a Microsoft internal case into a Microsoft external case.

Lots of choices available at Game Stop.

I'm not sure if the refurbished internal 120gb hard drive is an official Microsoft product or not.

Classic Video Games / Re: 25th anniversary of SEGA Saturn

I bought a round button Saturn from a Marine Exchange back in January 1997.  This was during the promo when Sega included 3 free games.  I tried to return it and keep the games but the cashier knew there were supposed to be 3 games so I played dumb and said I forgot it in the car.  Got the games from the car and got a refund.  Ended up going to Electronics Boutique and got an oval button Saturn that was bundled with Virtua Fighter.  I also got the 3 free games from Sega (Daytona USA, Virtua Cop, Virtua Fighter 2).

Sears, Gemco, Kmart

I miss those stores!

I got a 2600 on Christmas 1981.  I still have it in its box.  The last time I played it was back in 1997.

I got an NES Action Set on 6/30/88.  Interestingly enough, exactly 30 years later I got the NES Classic Edition on its re-release date of 6/30/18.

Just spent my last 1400 points on La Mulana (WiiWare), Proto Man DLC for Mega Man 9 (WiiWare) and Bass DLC for Mega Man 10 (WiiWare).

Cave Story is an awesome WiiWare game.

I met Pat at his book signing, seems like a cool dude.  I've seen Ian a few times when I went to Luna, he didn't seem obnoxious when he rang me up.

I don't see anything wrong with Pat (or anyone for that matter) voicing their opinion on anything.

1987 is when I started collecting.  I've been gaming since 1981 but 1987 is when I was actively thinking about what getting games on my own and planning ahead with when I'll be getting Christmas or birthday money.  This intensified later on in jr. high when I would skip lunch to save my lunch money in order to get more games.

Old fashioned.   I hate technology in cars.

I believe that's why a lot of people drive at night with their headlights off.  Newer dashboards are illuminated regardless if the headlights are on or off.

I prefer the old style instrumentation.  You'll know your headlights and taillights are off since the dash lights will also be off.

I won't be surprised if you can connect it to PSN to download more games at a similar price that is currently available on the PSN store.

Maybe comes with a bigger hard drive or allows an external HDD to download more content, this being the digital gaming era and all.

It's not going to have any network capabilities so you won't be able to add games via PSN.

Is it hackable?  Well that remains to be seen.

There should be another list for WiiWare, or was that done already?

I would play Doom on the 32X for hours every day during the summer of 1996.  I would always get migraines and thought that it was due to the summer heat.

Few years later I went with my cousins to a PC gaming place to play Counter Strike.  Ended up with a migraine.  Afterwards while in the drive thru of Jack In The Box I had to get out of the car to vomit.

I bought Call Of Duty: World At War for the Wii.  I stopped playing after I felt like I was going to get a migraine.

Not too long ago I went on YouTube to watch a longplay of the 32X version of Doom on my phone.  I stopped watching because I felt a migraine coming.

FPS games mess me up, yet I don't get bothered at all by SHMUPs, rail shooters, and flying/driving simulators.
