abandon collecting entirely.

taking out my sole hobby is taking away part of me.

forgive me is this is not the correct thread, and please point me in the direction of where i must:

i just recieved my physical copy of strife veteran edition for switch (via LRG) and i wanted to put it in my collection but i only find the digital edition. i know LGR published (and distributed) games are here because i have the rest in my database.

those on the know, can you add this version to the overal database?

i use adblock so i dont get ads.
however i tend to use youtube on my ps4 a lot more than on pc so i do get ads there. one time i got an entire episode of some online show as an "ad" that lasted 1 hour and 40 minutes. even took a pic of that absurdity, but i cant find the folder. need to, theres a lot of pics in it i want to see again.

i have no idea how to submit an addition to the database myself.

Video Game Database Discussion / movie videogames naming style
« on: March 20, 2018, 03:22:18 am »
should video game movies have the company's name included in the actual title?
im asking because i recently purchase rise of the guardians for WU on my quest to obtain every physical NTSC game for it
and i found out this version is the only one that has dreamworks in the title. so i came up with this question.
not many videogames are adressed with the company name. like you dont see "dreamworks shrek" or "pixar/disney the incredibles" and others. aladdin on snes and genesis dont say disney's aladdin either.
on even older games, you dont see " orion's robocop" or "amblin's hook".

i suggest keeping the company name out, except on specific games to differentiate from similar sounding games (like disney planes vs any other game titled planes before the movie and game came out).
