for information about one edit I do that was rejected (2 actually) :

perpetual europe = perp games, and as I finished the game, it is writed in big in the end credit that it is published by perp games

With a situation like this, it could be valid to use Perp Games or Perpetual Europe as they are both correct.

I rejected your edit and am glad a conversation ensued. As we've clarified, the box back information states Published by Perpetual-Europe ltd. which is substantially different from Perp Games. For nearly every other entry field, the packaging itself is utilized to gather information aside from Release Date and Description (although the latter, rarely.) It is with this logic that I regularly do the same for Developer and Publisher fields, if possible. For most PlayStation games released in Europe, that information is clearly accessible, such as in this instance, where Perpetual-Europe ltd. is visibly present whereas Perp Games is only present in the game data itself.

in fact, perp game and perp game logo is present on the front cover from all their releases, and to the end credit, they use perp games instead of perpetual game

coze perpetual game, perp game, are 2 names for the exact same compagny, and they use commonly perp game and their perp game logo instead of perpetual europe

I have no problem using one name or the other, but the common name remain perp games

Incorrect Information. Please see the VGCollect Style Guide or visit the Forums to clear up any listing questions.
Admin comments: Perpetual Europe ltd. is the publisher, as indicated by the back box text information. Perpetual Europe ltd. has been added to the list of Publishers.

so it is the same thing, and as you can see the logo on all of their releases, they use perp game as common name (and just like their website) instead of perpetual games

Hello there, I have a question for you :

I just updated the switch release I have on the database here, however, one of them, i'm not sure what's the game way for it :

I have Bubble Bobble 4 friend from strictly limited games, but this game also get a regular retail release : https://vgcollect.com/item/170084, has it have no item number, I cannot compare to it to my version of the game, so before adding my version (so strictly limited one) I prefer to ask here.

if it can help, strictly limited game release has item number : TSA-HAC-AVC3B-UKV

thanks in advance :)

Thanks for your answer, then, for those games, [BE] should be the right one if you have 100% dutch games, or [BE][NL] as those game can also be sold in the nederland?

Dankejewel voor your answer :)

after getting a PM from tripredacus and long reading, I though about the case of FR-NL box text games with not the red "attention" should be more [BE] games then?

additional question : is there are Dutch members here? if yes : do you have games with 100% dutch text box, or are they all FR-BE?

Video Game Database Discussion / TLD [FR][NL]

Hello there,

So i'm opening this thread, cose i'm slowly, but surely adding my game collection, as I'm french, most of them are french release, I aded already a nice chunk of french release, my problem come when it is box text with both nederland and french language.

after adding some of those release, it was edited from NL-FR to NL, I have read the thread about TLD, but still it is confusing and didn't get all of it, but in the end, i'm lose to get the correct name :

https://vgcollect.com/item/186008 : like this one passed from FR-NL to NL, NL is not correct, that's for sure, a nederland ONLY game (I am even not sure if this exist?) won't have french text on the box, so would be [BE] the correct one?

https://vgcollect.com/item/125819 : same question about that release

thanks in advance :)

love LRG at some point, hate it on other point.

i badly want street of rage 4, but i'm so glad I didn't buy it from lrg (as I live in france, i'll get a EU version cheaper)

I don't care about limited game etc etc (I have plenty of LRG release, they are all open, and I played to all of them) but I care about getting a physical copy

I wish they'll get back less into making hard money, and more into getting physical games that NEED to be done physical (like street of rage : they was knowing for ure it would get retail release) (and yes, I know it is a "dream"

First, hello everybody :)

So, I have a little question : I already add a few ps2 french games, everything goes right, and just now I have added futurama french ps2 games, with the french covert, but the front covert doesn't display correctly, it's bigger than the rest : did I make something wrong?
thanks in advance

ps : link to futurama french who doesn't display good : https://vgcollect.com/item/178414
