probably an odd choice but I'd like to see vector unit (the hydro thunder hurricane devs) be able to make a new wave race game, they are really good at making water physics in racing games and it would be interesting to see the series revived

I buy third party memory cards because there is really no difference, controllers on the other hand always end up feeling cheaper and lower quality then the official ones

Do you have the case for this game? because the site now uses the disc image in your collection if you specify you don't have the box and not all games have disc images on the database

My vauge unwritten rule is no loose discs, however loose cartridges have never bothered me, maybe it's because a loose disc feels so fragile on it's own. also I do not have the money to exclusively collect boxed nes/snes games, if anything i end up keeping those games sperate from the box so i can try and preserve the cardboard

I've always found playing old sports games to be like little time capsules of the year they were created not only of the sport they are representing but the music and style of the era

I don't know how others feel about this but I don't like to speculate on Nintendo directs anymore, they're so unpredictable that going in with any expectations just feels like it will end in some kind of disappointment

I kinda go for a midpoint I play my older 3d consoles through a scart cable on my flat screen and play older 2d consoles through an fpga clone console that outputs through HDMI (It's console emulation but I can still use original carts)

probably more of a cult series than a hidden gem if your really into racing games but the flatout series is amazing everything before the 3rd game is just pure arcade racing goodness and it's is still available on steam as well as having some console versions. just a great arcade/destruction derby game made by the wreck fest devs

kind of, Pokémon is really hard to get into if you never liked or played it as a kid but that's because most of the games aren't objectively that good, it's simple in it's story and gameplay but that makes for a game that brings huge nostalgia and attachment for anyone that did play it back when they were a kid. The huge number of Pokémon can make a playthrough feel quite personal so its no wonder why so many got engrossed in it but I don't think your missing anything hugely special if you don't feel like you get the appeal of the series now
