Most fun:
Original JP PS and its software/odd accessories and strange hardware in general.
3DO also is still quite fun.

Least fun collecting:
Xbox 360, getting anything in a “good condition” even going to Japanese region games, was a constant battle to get a good disc or even a game that the seller wasn’t lying about condition or even suprises like instructions seem ok, and once opening missing pages or even veery worn out or “humidity smell” on them. Quite difficult to get things that are known as “region free” which idc as I have JP & PAL systems myself, but in the end gave up and got my elite 360 just RGH and sold most of the stuff to pay for that mod itself, quite hard. And...
- Game gear
- SuperGrafx
- GP32

Welcome! Glad to see new members who are drawn to more obscure subsets with an interest in contributing to the database. In case you missed it, here are our community's two style guides.

Thanks both for the warm welcome!
Will take those guides in mind in any case, thanks for that too.

I think TG-16/Pc Engine will go up in 2021 . They're not super cheap at the moment , but I think there will be a surge in demand for them as the Analog Duo comes out . Especially PC engine and CD games .

Agree. With or without Analog Duo... PC-Engine and the forgotten PC-FX are going (and ongoing at same time) to have same or even more demand for this year and months to come. Given how active fan-translation community got too.

From here in my territory, things seem to have stalled quite a bit, but even still, some people are not willing to let it go and start to be a bit less “eBay”-ish.
Given that I collect mostly stuff from JP regions(for example, PC games that have a 0% probabilities of existing outside Japan or maybe they get localised in Korean/Chinese, officially speaking), it’s not affecting me but I can see real cases of burnout from both sides, from people who actively collect and trade, and from people who don’t collect so much and just trades/sells more over last years.

In short, more like a bubble... seems this is just users and resellers struggling to keep things the same, thinking there is the same amount of people aiming for a “fullset” or buying like earlier days where anything was being bought with less conscience if they really wanted that game/guide/etc miscellaneous related to those games, rather than understanding that there is also now more users and buyers that are more selective with what they want in their collections.

So this so called “stalled” status is generated, with the intention to make it go back where it was, without dropping the “items” pricing. But idc as I said before, nobody forces you to buy a game for X amount, if you think is too much, then... Let it be. Let it sit there, or come up with a possibility to get it, as nobody can guarantee that it will stay, nor even if after that one another will come for higher or lower.

PS: sorry for the sudden long wall-of-text.

Hi here, mostly a kind of "oddware" collector and a huge fan of NEC and all they did in the late 80s to the late 90s.

Been mostly involved in preservation forums, but thought this site could be interesting to trade and add items that have never been listed in the site DB.
Once I am more active, following the rules established by mods, will be hanging around the Marketplace, as I think collectors in the end are also looking to keep expanding new horizons, and their collections, of course, haha.

Anyway, glad to start around here and lets hope for the best.
