Dark Souls is a good one to chip away; great game.

I'd have to agree!  It's been kicking my ass, but it has been a great game so far.  Just finished up Sen's Fortress last week.
Sen's Fortress is a fun one. Is that before or after Blighttown?

Right after. Blighttown was... well let’s just say it took me a while to finish ;D

Pacpix!!! Hey buddy :D How's life been treating ya?

Busy, but good!  Been slingin' code at the internship i started in June and finishing up the last semester of my undergrad.  Other than that just obsessively checking gradcafe for PhD results xD (which you can probably relate to back when you were in admissions hell)

Not much gaming other than slowly chipping away at Dark Souls and my inability to kick my Mario Tennis Aces habit  ;D

How have you been?

Received Wizardry 1, 2, and 3 on GBC JP in the mail today  :)  Got a great deal on all 3, these games don't get listed that often, and when they do it's usually for way more than I'm willing to spend.

Excited to add these to my collection.  Only four games to go until I have a complete Nintendo Wizardry set!

I mean I staff on the forums over on Bulbagarden which has a ton more activity; we have thread that's amassed over 24,000 replies since March just as one example. Bulbagarden is great and I love working there, there's a ton more fighting and bickering which makes this forum a breath of fresh air by comparison.

I don't mind that this is a smaller community and most of the people that I've known since joining here have still been around with the exception of PacPix  :'(

I swear I didn't run away forever! <3 I still try to keep up with the VGC Anonymous thread here every once in a while.  Hope to be active again soon  :) (Especially on admin side where i've really dropped the ball >.>).  Life has just been crazy lately between school, work, research, and applying for PhD programs lol.

Platformers are what I'm best at, largely because that's generally what I play the most of.  I'm pretty decent at action and puzzle games as well.

Strategy games are probably the worst for me.  I always get really stressed out playing them and do not find them fun at all.  I like some strategy in my games (RPGs), but once it gets to RTS territory I become useless.

6. Add Sega SG-1000 [EU] sub-category to Sega SG-1000 category.

I have added this category.

Well shit, I already bought a digital copy for switch...

But I mean this is VGCollect, it's not like having a copy of a game has stopped me from buying a different variant/physical release before  ;D

Excellent  :)

How are the controls on the Switch? I remember a lot of complaints of janky controls when the PS4 version launched.

The controls are definitely awkward on Switch.  However you get used to them after a while.  Unfortunately the worst offenders are the controls in the dungeons themselves for map/inventory/party management which is a little frustrating.

I wouldn't call them bad or broken, but certainly not the most intuitive.

Looks like someone changed the first blank entry.  I deleted the second one.

Wut?  You did that backwards.  The OG 50810 was the correct listing.  It is a Golden Book children's book... not an NES video game.

It can be fixed, but what was "stuff" ?
I couldn't be arsed to type out the name of the listing.

Whoops that was my bad  :-\.  Totally missed the platform.

I think it's kind of cool to be honest. Not something that I would buy, but as a kid I would have been all over it. I like the cardboard aesthetic. Reminds me of a simpler time making submarines and racecars and robots out of cardboard. :)

I basically feel the same about this.  Like 10 years ago I'd be begging my parents to get this  :D.  I don't see myself getting this, but I think it's a cool idea and will definitely be interested to see all the ideas Nintendo has in store for Labo.

Off Topic / Re: Favorite Movie of 2017

Blade Runner 2049 was my favorite movie of the year, nothing else even came close.  I was completely against the movie being made, yet I ended up seeing it twice in the theater lol.

The Last Jedi gets the nod for second best.  Really enjoyed the movie and I'm interested to see where they take the series for episode IX.  Recency bias aside, I liked it more than The Force Awakens.
