General / Looking for a good video game console history encyclopedia/book

Hello all, it has been a very long time since I posted here but I remember this being a very good/well informed community of collectors and I was wondering if there are any good books that give a detailed look at video game consoles/computers through history? The specifics I would be looking for would be for it to be chronological, a run down and history on the key people and significant games. And the more consoles the better. I have been listening to a podcast that will regularly reference consoles I've never heard of and it all is very interesting to me. I looked for books on Google but I was never able to really figure if the results I got were what I was looking for.

). Instead of learning to play a real instrument, and seeing as I mostly listened to old 90s era rap music at this time, I was introduced to the world of sampling. As a form of I guess creative outlet or just something to do when I was bored I downloaded fruity loops and started playing around with stuff on there. I was going through my old music account today and came across some of the stuff I did. A few had some video game music sampled in it, and it's been a while since I've shown this stuff to anyone so I figured I'd post some of the video games ones on here. listening to these now, one of my biggest weaknesses for sure was mixing (I was really in love with bass back in these days, lol). But anyways here they are.
