General / Question About Organizing My Collection

Hey everyone so quick question. Should I keep my imports separate from the rest of my collection?
Right now my collection is sorted by console. But all my imports are clumped together at the end of every console section. Should I just keep them all together on a separate shelf or just leave it the way it is?

They went from a powerhouse in the industry with some of the most iconic franchises to some crappy no name company that just makes pachinko games.

General / Advice on Signatures (what should I get signed)

I'm going to ConnectiCon next month and Steve Blum is gonna be there. Here's the thing, I have nearly a dozen games that he's been in, but I don't know what I should have him sign. I can only get like three things signed at most because it costs money to get a signature so I wanted to see what you guys thing.
Here's what he's been in that I own:

The Bouncer - Kou Leifoh
Killer 7 - Kenjiro Matsuoka
Valkyria Chronicles - Zaka
Mass Effect 2 – Grunt
Vanquish – Robert Burns
Prey – Walther Dahl
Lawbreakers – Faust
God of War – Ares
Madworld – Jack Cayman
Bulletstorm – Grayson Hunt
Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor/Shadow of War – Sauron
The Punisher - Bullseye

I'm gonna have him sign my Mass Effect Trilogy box because its one of my favorite franchises of all time. After that, I'm torn between whether I should get something signed to increase the value of my collection or because I really like the game.

One thing I'm really torn on is whether I should get my copy of lawbreakers signed. For those of you that don't know, its one of the worst selling games in history and only sold a few thousand copies on launch. The PS4 version literally only had about 300 people playing on launch. The only reason I bought a copy is because it had a limited physical release through limited run games. Now that makes me think it could be really valuable one day because there were so few copies made, on the other hand its a game no one bought and most people forgot existed.

Classic Video Games / Help me find this game from my childhood?

Hey everyone!
So I'm trying to find a game from my childhood. I used to play it at Pizza hut when I was a kid (like 15-20 years ago) but here's what I remember.
-It was a side scroller/run and gun
-the gameplay was kinda like metal slug/contra
-probably the most standout thing was that the two playable characters (only differentiated by their colors of orange and blue) and that they had armored backs and tails like an Ankylosaurus.
-first section was standard run and gun but the second section was a vehicle section (never got passed it because I was like 7)

Anyone have any idea what game this might be?

Modern Video Games / When Video Games Die

One thing that's truly depressing about current gen gaming is that video games can now truly die and never be played again. Sure it's been happening with MMORPGs for a while now but we're starting to see it more and more with the rise of multiplayer only games; once a game goes offline, you can never play it again.

I recently booted up Paragon only to learn that its servers officially shut down and its really depressing finding out you'll never be able to play a game that you really enjoyed (personally I don't spend money on loot boxes or shit because of this very reason).

Classic Video Games / Zelda Collection Advice

Hey everyone!
I want to start a themed portion of my collection in which I collect all the Zelda games, but there's some things I'm stuck on.

1) Should I collect remakes, or just the originals?
2) *updated* If I go for remakes,which versions should I aim for because there are soooo many. Like there's the Nintendo selects (Which is nintendo's take on Playstation Greatest Hits and Xbox Platinum games), skyward sword has a "world edition". I would assume go for which ever one is more valuable/rarer but its hard for someone like me to tell

I plan on buying some rare CD-I games. Before I do want to look into some ways to spot bootlegs. I know they're out there because I saw someone selling a reproduction of the Wand of Gamelon (the guy was straight forward that it was a repro).

General / Video Game Protector Boxes

Hey everyone.
I've been buying protector boxes for my games recently but I've run into a bit of a snag. I'm having a lot of difficulty finding boxes for 2 games in particular:
1) Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year edition (5 5/8 x 7 1/16 x 1/2) - the problem I've been having is that its like 1/8 larger than normal dvds
2) The Legend of Zelda Breathe of the Wild: Expolorer's Edition (5 3/8 x 7 1/2 x 14/16)

anyone know a place that does custom protector case orders or game cases with similar sizes?

Classic Video Games / NES Classic Help

Hey everyone,
I bought an NES Classic for my brother and he's having some trouble with it. Basically, every game that we try to play looks glitched as hell (the colors are wrong, the sound is weird, and words are illegible. I bought it from a store and they plugged it into a TV at the store to show me it worked. I only cleaned the outside of it when I got home by lightly spraying windex on a rag then wiping it down. The only things I can think of it being are 1) the cables (I threw out the tv cable it came with because it was disgusting and grabbed one I had lying around) or 2) his TV which is fairly new.

Thoughts/suggestions?

Hello! I was hoping someone can help me mod my PSP.
I want to mod my PSP to play Valkyria Chronicles with the english patch (I'm gonna use the only one I know of/the most well known one https://vc3translationproject.wordpress.com/)

Here's the thing, I have no idea what I'm doing and I would be forever thankful if someone could help me.
I have some decent computer background skills, but only with Macs and Windows XP (that's the last format I used for windows) so I have some understanding of the instructions but by and large I don't know what I'm doing.

Modern Video Games / Question About Total War Atilla

Hello Everyone!
So please bear with me for a minute while I get to my question.
I'm a huge fan of the Total War series. It's hands down my favorite RTS series and I've played everything from Empire to Rome 2. I bought Rome 2 when it was on sale AND MAN DID I REGRET IT! The gameplay was fine, but the camera controls were completely different and super awkward, and the graphics were so bad that it made me feel physically ill. I usually don't complain about graphics, but this is an exception because Shogun 2 and Fall of the Samurai both look and run very well on my computer. Plus, I'm pretty sure the game isn't working properly because enemies are invisible until they are quite literally 40 feet away.

I'm just about finished with Shogun 2 and the dlc so I thought I might give Atilla a try, but I don't want to make the same mistake. How does Atilla compare to Shogun 2/Rome 2?

So I was on tumblr and I saw an account that required a password just to view. It had blog_auth in the name (https://www.tumblr.com/blog_auth/needsyous) and I googled it and there a bunch of pages just like it. Anyone know what the hell its about? It seems really sketchy to me >_>

Hey everyone!
I loved Touch My Katamari on the Vita so I downloaded Me & My Katamari from the PSN. My first thought was HOLY SHIT THIS COTROLS HORRIBLY COMPARED TO THE VITA. Then I remembered the psp didn't have dual analog control so they were doing the best they could. ANYWAY! Is there a way to change the controls?
