I think Rockstar has become a pathetic shell of what it once was as a developer. Even back during the PS1 era when they were primarily PC oriented, they still had more games on console than they did for the PS4. What they did was basically focus almost entirely (save for RDR2) on GTAV's multiplayer. That's now their cash cow. It's made them incredible amounts of money because the masses are stupid.

I understand liking a game and wanting to support it, but the way GTAV online is set up... it's not made to benefit the consumer in any measure. They charge you real money for insane things like car insurance for a videogame car. Serisouly?!... and people will be buying the game again for the third time on PS5 when it releases.

Rockstar is basically no longer a dev IMO... but you can't entirely blame them when their user base keeps supporting their BS. Without their dollars, without the masses supporting this shallow as hell game... we'd have more and better games from Rockstar as they would have moved on from that model.

I don't think it's fair to call the people that enjoy the game dumb, it is a fun game. And honestly I'd wager that most people paying for extra stuff are young. But still, you have a point about the fact that it is their cash cow and they're gonna milk it until it runs dry. The optimist in me wants to say that they're using the extended life of V to make 6 even better, but I doubt that.

Loved the first one, that was my first FPS and spent countless hours on it.

Anyone listened to the new Weezer album? I’m loving it so far. Definitely one of their best in recent memory.

I've been finding that with most open world games, AC Valhalla requires me to take a break from it.

100% in the same boat. I love Valhalla so far but I've taken a break from it to clear some games from my backlog. Fully intend on coming back to it here in couple weeks though.

One time I went to Home Depot and as I was walking in, a guy was running out with a set of power tools. Ran right past me with 2 workers chasing him, then jumped into the back of a car sitting in front of the store and sped off. I started to feel bad about not doing anything but one of the workers came back and said "At least they were dumb enough to park with their plates right in front of our cameras."

Enjoying Watch Dogs Legion, but I love all of the other Watch Dogs games. About as buggy as you should expect from a Ubisoft title near launch. Also finally sat down and beat Super Castlevania IV, my favorite SNES game from when I was young.

I'd love to see the older 3D GTA games remade in the RAGE engine. It would be really fun to play around in Vice City with updated graphics and controls.

Let me guess, Dr. Evil saying one million dollars, am I right?

Anyway, I came across this listing, which I think is rather sleazy. He isn't charging for shipping, so I guess there's that...

Wow. Not only is it case only, but the cases are fake too? I can see someone not looking closely and wasting money on that.

I'm gonna echo what other people are saying with TLOU2, loved that game so much. Played through it twice within the first month. I also really enjoyed Bart vs. the Space Mutants on NES. I don't know if it is considered a bad game per say, but I haven't really seen any praise for it. Editing this to add Pro Skater 5. Haven't played much of it, but I picked it up relatively cheap after loving THPS1+2 and it really isn't that bad. Controls are kind of wonky and it is definitely bad compared to other games in the series, but it is actually really enjoyable if you look at it as its own thing.

I rarely use CBS All Access but it seems like they have been upgrading their content recently. They added a bunch of old Comedy Central and MTV stuff a month or so ago, and now there's this. Thanks for the heads up, I'll definitely check it out.

All my searches would only bring me to websites offering some form of software or app for movie cataloging. Aside from that, most everywhere I checked they kept mentioning Blu-ray.com, but I also found TMDb (The Movie Database), which based on what I read is maintained by its community, similar to what we do here. Now, I didn't register to any of these websites to see if they function like VGCollect, but I figured I bring them to your attention and maybe you can check them out for yourselves.

At first glance, TMDb looks like trakt.tv. Not really for keeping track of your physical collection, but more for keeping track of your watch history on sites like Netflix. Apparently I already have a blu-ray.com account, to my surprise. Looking at my collection though, I barely logged anything.

This page is pretty handy because it lists any issues that games have in addition to what games are backwards compatible. Looking at Crash Nitro Kart, it should work fine with both NA and PAL versions of the game. The page could be incorrect, but nobody else has replied to this thread yet so maybe it'll help.
