I recently went and saw Transformers: Rise of the Beasts. Honestly ever since they kicked Michael Bay off the movies they have been considerable better. The script and acting wasn't great but they are definitely hitting more on the nostalgia value now. Lots of characters from the original series designed very similarly to their original versions. Overall I enjoyed the movie.

I also went and saw Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and can I just say that these Spiderman animated movies blow me away. No matter how many times I watch either of them I find something new that I missed on previous viewings. Plus there is a single scene in the new one that took them 4 years to animate!

Rented Tony Hawk's Underground from blockbuster sometime in the mid 00's. Never returned it, still have it. My favorite game of all time.

First time I've bought physical games since I moved,

PS2 - ICO
PS2 - Shadow of the Colossus
Switch - Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (I know, I'm pretty late to the party.)

Honestly I think they're a bit expensive for what you're getting but I've learned they are really good for people with handicaps that can make it harder for them to use a regular computer monitor/mouse and keyboard.

Just watched Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods, Dragon Ball Super: Broly, and Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. I never really got into Dragon Ball and now I regret it. The fight scenes are amazing and the hand drawn animation is some of the best I've seen in a long time.

Watching The Sandman on Netflix right now, it's really good I recommend to everyone (that's an adult at least)

Not really that old but I loved Lord of the Rings Conquest (2009) on the Xbox 360. I rarely hear people talk about this one and it never went backwards compatible but it was made by Pandemic Studios who made the original Star Wars Battlefront game and played very similarly to it. I would love a remaster of it or even a new game in the series.

I joined the site during Covid (I think) since then I have moved cross country and started a new job and haven't really had time to be very active on the forums or really do anything video game related. I don't think I've bought a physical video game in over 6 months, which is not something I thought I'd ever say. I'd love to get more active again and would love to see the sight get more active too.

It's been coming for a while, especially with the introduction of download-free game streaming. We can still keep collecting physical games and hope that they keep releasing them.

I think the second controller had a big part in saving the console.

Grading will usually not add any value to your games and a suspicious number of games sent out for grading "go missing"

I think pretty much all of the Tony Hawk games on PS2 had pretty amazing launches

At this point Mario Kart 8 and Mario Odyssey, like many others I primarily use the Switch for exclusives because there is just better options to play everything else.

I had a friend tell me that if he spends $1000+ on something he always insures it whether is be a collection, a guitar or anything else. I've kinda stuck by that rule so far.
